Ferrero Rocher 16pk $4.24 at Woolworths (save $6.35)

My chocolate-bargain radar zero-ed in on this sweet-as bargain at Woolies (VIC) tonight.

Such cheap deliciousness.

Didn't seem to be mentioned in the weekly specials (nor in the catalogue) but thought this decent savings might justify it's own post. Hope your local store has these waiting for you…..

Bought 2 - both are best before 29 Jan 2012. Should last through as cheepie Xmas gifts LOL.

At one month till expiry (from Xmas), it'll be pretty obvious you got it from the clearance section! lol

Which Victorian Woolies store did you get them from?

Back from two of my local Woolworths with no luck…
    Thrifty Park & Menton

cos they were sold out, or cos the deal wasn't on?

      •

Plenty in stock… but at the price of $10.59

  •

Sounds like an end of line or someone misread the Best Before date. There's no way they should be that cheap, even on a super special.

To make you feel weird: the centres of Ferrero Rochers is Nutella.
To make you feel sick: Nutella is really just solidified vegetable fat with a dash of cocoa and sugar.

      I don't want a Ferrero Rocher anymore.

Nutella is made of fat, cocoa and sugar? I'm shocked. I thought it was made of broccoli and brussels sprouts :-)

People may be surprised to note chocolate is also a big lump of fat, cocoa and sugar.

The 'vegetable fat' component of good chocolate is cocoa butter. It is quite different from Nutella where you are pretty much just chomping down on a serving of solidified palm oil.

still tastes good. yeah, its mostly vegetable oil and sugar. like 90 percent.

Lucky you, sparkles. I don't care what's in them, they're yummy!
