  • what is the dimensions of the tv? eg height and width?
Just want to know so I can see if it fits in my hole in the cupboard

  • According to Vivo's official documentation, the dimensions are (WxDxH) - 786x103x509mm

  • does this meet the Kogan free TV criteria?

    • No, JB or HN only

    • That's only available for TVs from Harvey Norman or JB i believe. [sorry, responded at same time as above]

  • could we get more spec on this i.e power rating response time etc.

  • you need to put a network (rj45 port) in them so we can better utilise the PVR!

cant wait for a tv with a decent network media centre…

  • omg i bought this for $299 last time and had to wait 3 weeks to get the damn tv because there was no supply "due to popular demand"

only problem was, i placed my order so quickly, they hadnt even changed the price on their website yet after the newsletter went out…but still didnt get allocated any stock of the first batch that was in stock.

after i got it, there were these two massive watermark looking stains on the screen. I cant be bothered to claim warranty because they will probably take a month to get the tv fix it and send it back.

    never buying from eljo again.

        thanks for taking the initiative
the 4 phone calls i made to your customer support gave me the impression that although they were happy to resolve my issues, they wanted to brush it under the carpet thereafter

any idea wat the turnaround time is for warranty issues? do i pay for return shipping? ive had the tv for a month but the defect occured out of the box.

  • User manual @ http://vivotvs.com/Manuals/LTV32FHD.pdf shows only x2 HDMI input !?!

    • Hi,
Well picked up on the discrepency there. We've just contacted Vivo to enquire as to the correct details and they told us that the information on the website is about the last batch they received from the factories, whilst the ones currently for sale are a new batch, including an extra HDMI port.

New specs here, as coppied directly from the spec sheet provided by Vivo:

      Aspect Ratio - 16:9
      Response Time - 8.5ms
      Max. Resolution - 1920 x 1080
      Contrast Ratio - 6000:1
      Brightness - 450cd/m^2
      Active Display Area - 698.4 (H) x 392.85 (V)
      Display Colour (max) - 16.7M
      Viewing Angle - 176(H) / 176(V)

      Connections:
      2 x CVBS + Auio R/L
      1 x TV(RF)
      1 x PC Analog Port
      1 x PC Audio
      1 x Coaxial
      3 x HDMI
      2 x YCbCr/YPbPr
      1 x USB

      • The specs on this new batch are different from the older model on the Vivo website. Any idea what the power consumption is for this TV?

    • theres 3 usb ports

this tv has every port u can imagine, except dvi

also connecting to a pc, will have the edges of your screen cutoff…i have no idea why

      • see overscan…

  • according to the specs provided
    http://vivotvs.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypa…

there are only 2x hdmi inputs not 3

Can this tv be wall mounted & if so what size is the vesa mount?

    edit: too slow typing…lol ;)

    • From conversation with Vivo, VESA mount is 200 x 200.

Brackets listed as optional extras on the product page are compatible (you can choose either fixed or articulated).

  • where could I possibly go to view a Vivo TV or equivalent TV to see the picture quality. Not Mel/Syd.
Also having trouble finding past reviews/experiences with these tv's after 1-2years.

    • We have one (42" size) on display in our showroom in Richmond, Melbourne. I don't know where else may have one.

I'm also unsure of any mainstream reviews outside of customers on Whirlpool forums and the like.

The TV has very good picture quality considering it's price point. It easily stacks up against any of it's rivals in the same price range. Obviously a major brand will have better quality (how much better is a matter of individual opinion), but they will also come at a much higher price.

      • Would be handy to know if the HDMI connections on the 32" will display at full HD resolution when connected to PC, rather than having to connect via VGA? Cheers, in the market for a set like this for my lad's PC and Xbox360 rather than a monitor.

    • See below comment from glenda2011 - so DSE may be your answer.

  • Damn I paid $399 for this at Dicksmith 4 weeks ago with 3 year warranty. Great TV. I hightly recommend it for the price!

  • Great price! Don't know why this only has 4 +ve votes.
