What are people doing with all of these paper towels and cleaners?
Sold out. Doesn’t matter, supermarkets have heaps now, so that isn’t an issue. Still no dunny rolls though
A lot of supermarkets do not
I work with a diagnosed germaphobe and he is having meltdowns and his inability to get paper towel and is driving kms and kms trying to find it
Where do you live? If in Melb, coles Werribee plaza had 100+ packets at lunchtime yesterday and no one was really grabbing them
I’m in Melbourne also and haven’t seen paper towel anywhere.
This is a good buy - 6 pocket size packs of tissues for $3
https://www.amazon.com.au/KLEENEX-FACIAL-Facial-Pocket-tissu…
Each pack contains 9 Tissues so total of 54 Tissues
How many tissues in a standard box ?
It's pocket size though. Good for travel
yeah no doubt ;)
but seems like a low number, 9 per pack
maybe its my muddled memory of being a child with these in my pockets i always thought there was so many more lol
All gone :(
Legend - thank you!
I think chemist warehouse has or had 10 packs of off brand for 99 cents. And the on brand were 6 or 8 packs for 2 dollars.
This was $12 last month
and was also widely available .. can not compare
How many people have died just from the Flu since last month now?
How many people would have died if we had not taken measures to shut everything down?
But we have not shut everything down…. you can still get a haircut
@jimbobaus: I'm talking about around the world.
Nobody dies anymore, if not for this virus, didn't you get it?
Yes I heard the speech from Xi on the 3rd of Feb to party leaders, no one died after now.
I think that was more price matching one of the supermarkets rather than any sort of standard discount from Amazon.
These paper towels were available at my local coles servo the other night. Tonnes of them. The guy asked me if I wanted to buy, and I kinda wanted to but said no because I don't really need them.
Coles Servo's restock at night FYI.
Again as per my comment above this is not the case everywhere.
a LOT of places including servo's do not have stock
My local foodworks has pallets of big hand sanitizer bottles paperyown as it’s members only so no outsiders that’s u plenty of stock
yeah fair enough I was actually just informing people it was still possible to get them
No need to stress people. The lunatics have filled their spare bedrooms and availability returning to normal as expected.

Too bad nothing is on sale. We'll get normal priced guaged by the colesworths now
This is what going to happen, people who suffer due to first wave of panic buying will buy more.
No catalogues this week, well there was a very small catalogue this week for woolworths. It isn't even this bad between christmas and new years.
How long before anyone will have enough rolls to stop buying? I haven't seen paper in supermarkets in 3 weeks
Not long now, we are just about to 'flatten the moron', the scientific method for charting a peak in demand for shit you don't need and then a plateau of, 'wait why do we have 400 rolls of toilet paper, am i a f****** moron?'.
flatten the moron
😂
Methinks price gouging is alright for the big time players while the small fries get vilified. Is something wrong with this scenario? This virus sadly and shamefully brings the worst in people and have yet to see some kindness out of this unnecessary mess.
So firstly they are not gouging, this is slightly less (only) than its RRP
secondly the ACCC has come out today to explain why some every day items are more expensive
They used pasta as an example, pasta sold under the Coles brand for example is manufactured during a single shift each day, due to increased demand this has been extended to 3 shifts now while the costs of the extra shifts are made up by the ongoing demand the costs are not fully covered so a small increase in what is the norm is expected and allowed.
The ACCC is however monitoring prices and were last night given some extra powers to prosecute those who do decide to gouge
ScoMo's team will reach supplier soon. LOL!!!
I just went to woolies and bought a 3 pack for $4 without any issue.
Cheryl: (profanity) the toilets clogged. OK Let's stop buying paper towel.
Available again now !
Back in stock.
lol….. and all gone… already.
