  I have no idea how people can shop for a suit online - it takes me hours to find something close to fitting when in a tailor's, and always needs final adjustment. :-/

    If you’ve purchased from the same brand before, you usually get a pretty good idea of what to order and how they interpret measurements vs actual fit. It’s not ideal, but can work out. Ideally you’d only do this with a retailer that has a good returns policy however.

      Get it adjusted by a tailor when it arrives. Generally only costs about $40-$50 and will look and fit so much better.

    i bought some pants in Jan. just checked them for you, 42" pant measured inside waist with tailors tape measure at just under 42.5"

      Thank you for that antikythera. So would be pretty safe to assume product size is slightly less than actual pant size.
