I had to get some wedding gifts and picked up some of the 'Performance' series glasses which I almost purchased on the weekend at Victoria's Basement but they only had 4pc of the 6pc I was after in stock.
If it's not too late swap the Performance with Vinum instead, have both and the Performance didn't take abuse as well as the Vinum.
The newlyweds specifically asked for the Performance to match their existing glassware :-/
I once received this decanter set as a kris Kringle present. My kids found it hilarious and insisted that we used it for their birthday party. One of the parents who attended identified the set as a Simone Crestani, " a young luminary when it comes to glass, whose aesthetic tends toward time-honored artistic values of balance, elegance and grace".
This charming decanter features a sinuous round shape which bulges at the bottom and tapers slightly leading up to the lip where it again widens, creating the perfect spout for pouring beverages. That is just so messed up.
This is the headless chook used as a water carafe but it looked even funnier with red wine or wee-coloured fruit juice in its portly belly. It has sadly gone missing. My wife was so embarrassed every time I would pompously bring it out that I suspect she may have something to do with its disappearance.
The good taste gene cut in. That is hilarious though. It actually looks pretty well made.
