[NSW] Lamb Cutlets $12/kg @ Coles, Bondi Junction Westfield

1070

Did a double-take this morning at Coles when I saw this. Unsure if this is only at the Bondi junction branch or state/nationwide. Usually around 30+/kg from memory.

All lamb cutlets marked with the same price and scanned at registry without issues.

Meat should be consumed within few days it is not short date IMO

I think you can buy and put them in freezer for later.

      • Meat can last for over a month in the fridge if packaged and stored correctly.

I frequently keep meat in the fridge for around a month if it’s been cryovac sealed.

        • Or in the freezer for more than 6 months.

    not at Leichhardt (NSW)

Your right, OP said Bondi Junction.

      • -3

Your right, OP said Bondi Junction.

        Do you mean you're?

OP said they were unsure if nationwide. Doesn't take a genius to figure out "not at Leichhardt" could be useful information.

@Coops1: Some people really get off on correcting other people's spelling.

@Coops1: I think the relevant point was that he was defending your attack on the previous comment providing useful information that the deal is not available at other stores.

You might have to empty out all the toilet rolls first.

      • +3

I tried using frozen toilet rolls. Very painful.

        • +1

@muncan: you can't only want the reward without wanting the risk in life. Not bargain advice, just life advice.

    Absolute bargain

Found it quite weird how none of the people at coles were interested in them when I got mine

    • brand new freezer probs full

      • +2

a way to get around this is take the cutlets out of those plastic trays and put them in the re-sealable plastic bags= takes much less place in the freezer

        • +1

          i just vac pack ( i don't have a new freezer)

    • Some people not interested in bargains. All the more for the rest of us.

I am scared to go to my local shopping because of the travel police, much less Bondi.

Great price! I’ve been buying lamb racks recently in Aldi for $20 per kilo. Each makes 9 cutlets + a piece of fatty meat I use for plov (rice, meat, veggies)

    • do you know Aldi has Lamb cutlets in specific?

  • +1

I thought u meant lamb forequarters🤣 great deal, let us know the taste

Good to see that, even with COVID-19, people are still happy to support factory farming to produce our next antibiotic-resistant superbugs to plague society.
The ignorance is strong with this bunch.
