Vuly 360 Pro Mini Swing Set - M Frame $169, L Frame $219 Delivered @ Vuly

121

Vuly 360 Pro Mini Swing Set on clearance. Frame only previously started around the $500 mark - now down to $169 + swings and accessories, including delivery.

Great value for such a solid swingset.

Pricing Examples:

Medium Frame Only: $169
Large Frame Only: $219
Large Frame with Cubby: $559

Note: The "mini" swingsets are around 1.8m high, with 50kg per swing weight rating - so primarily designed for children / teens. Larger "Max" swingsets aren't on clearance.

A few notes based on comments:

1) They use standard carabiner connections to the frame - so you can hook up your cheap bunnings swings to this.
2) Vuly frames are expensive - for good reason. Nothing else on the market comes close to the quality and solidness of the frame. You can't compare thin wobbly K-mart frames to this.
3) First thing to do is remove ALL accessories and swings from your order to get the frame only price. Then add what you wish. UX is a bit glitchy - so make sure you remove everything to get frame only.

  • frame is pretty useless on its own….

    • yeah i got pretty excited until i saw that basic accessories brought it to $1100

      • -1

yeah their prices are pretty high
they say 'from' $699 for a pro max swing set (which in reality is a single cloth swing with nothing else) whereas the example image is more like $2k+

      • You may have not been removing all the default accessories they put on it.

Large frame with three swings is $679.
Remove all to get the frame only price, and you can add cheap swings from wherever. Frame is solid and worth the cash.

The actual swings etc are insanely expensive. Even if they gave the frame away for free, it would not be a bargain.

.. except that I assume you can pick up some swing from Bunnings etc and hook up to the frame. So unless it has some really weird connections to prevent this, it might be an ok price if you ONLY buy the frame. Pending on quality (I really have no idea).

    • +3

Quality is second to none - seriously, we looked high and low at options for our kids. And yes - you can absolutely hook up cheap no-brand swings to this and save cashola. We're using our cheap bunnings baby seat - no worries.

For the price and quality - the frame only is a steal.

  • The configuration is a PITA. I’m looking at $1k when I try and mix / match on the most basic?

  • Lol, we've been looking at swing sets lately and these are ridiculously expensive. I can only assume they're throwing in a child?

    • +1

The swing set would be free if they threw in a child.

    • Yeah finally figured it out. The UX of the site is crap. It doesn’t actually show what’s been selected in the list, you need to look at the image.

      • Agreed :)

      • P.S. Does this warranty upvoting instead of downvoting yet? ;)

        • Neutral vote. Do you recommend the accessories or just get them from Bunnings? Or where else?

          • @LittleTicket: Accessories and swings from Vuly are decent quality - but expensive, so depends on priority. We got genuine nest swing and went with aftermarket baby swing.

For me - the frame is the main thing. I want it to be solid, not wobbly. The swings can be replaced - the frame I want to last forever.

  • Been looking at these for a while. Thanks OP. However, am keen on the C2 frame but it is more expensive than the bigger C3 frame? wierd?

    • +1

Get the C3. It's just a C2 with an extender kit anyway (actually it's a C1 with two extender kits) - and you don't have to fit the kit.

We purchased the Max (before this deal came out) in the medium (2) size, and it's literally just the small (1) sized frame with an extender kit consisting of joiner and another swing connector frame. So if you purchase the large (3) size, you can choose to build it full size, or drop it to a 2 swing or 1 swing size by excluding extensions.

Keep in mind, too, this is the mini version which is smaller (lower) than the 'max'. If that's the one you've been looking at - great! It's an absolute bargain. We paid $1000+ for our medium Max set with two swings just two weeks ago.

        Awesome! Thanks for the tip!

  • Decent deal for Mini, pity the Max Frame is still ridiculous!

I’m going the neg again. On the homepage they list a “Medium 360 Pro Mini” for $379 - cannot find this anywhere in the site.

    • +3

      M Frame - $168
      Yoga Swing - $110
      Normal swing seat - $100
      $379

Remove all accessories other than free shade cover.

Feel free to remove your neg anytime.

      • Yeah but it's right under a picture for a much cooler setup. The way it's all laid out is total bait and switch.

Ps: I'm not saying the mini frame isn't a good deal.

        • Oh agreed. Their website has some (profanity) design on it. Like the preselected options and accessories.

  • It annoys me I can't buy the cubby separate! Anyone worked out how?

    • Just buy the C1 (cubby+single swing attachment) - still a great deal and to my knowledge, you don't have to fit the swing extension at all if you don't want, leaving you with just the cubby.

      • What I'm actually trying to achieve is buy two L + cubby to get the 3c3 cheaper. The cubby looks kinda crap, I only want it to allow a right angle.

        PS: c3 is $10 cheaper than c1

How old can kids be for the mini anyway? Ours are on the tall side

This is awesome thanks, got the mid size, a couple of swings from Bunnings and we’ll be set, great find, upvoted!

Anyone got theirs yet? Mine arrived yesterday - Frame only $169. Chips in paint; not easy to set up and it seems the holes are drilled in the wrong spot on two connectors? Contacted the company yesterday but no response yet. Kinda surprised at these issues given the company reputation. Solid set though.

    • arrived just now. Will have a look later today or tomorrow. I'll update once opened and assembly attempted!

      • Suggest a two person job!

        • Definitely a 2 person job. Just finished. Very difficult, with parts often not lining up correctly. One bolt simply can’t be tightened all the way. Lots of swearing. It’s ok because I didn’t pay a lot of money, however if I’d dropped more than $500 on a set that included this frame - I’d be complaining. I’d liken it to a cheap Ikea piece in terms of assembly. The pieces seem of good quality, though are too difficult to put together.

          • @Tigersboy: Yeh same. Did you have any trouble lining the bolts up on the top corner h connectors? there is an insert and the sleave on the swing connector and the h - connector do not meat up flush on mine. PITA. Still no response from Vuly.

My instructions said use frame bolts in the mid section cross bars but the thread was WAY too big. I ended up using the fatter bolts and very hard to screw in but fitted in the end - really bad quality control.

            • @Appleboat: I think we encountered exactly the same issue. Each of the top bolts was really difficult, with one simply not working well at all (screwed in about halfway, and it's not budging). The alignment is way off, difficult to get right, and the bolts themselves seem of average quality.

    • Mine hasn't shipped yet. Bit disappointed to see the comments from you guys. I guess we will wait and see what arrives! Will report back once assembled. Might be this weekend but could be next.

  • After my bitching I bought one (medium frame 360 mini). Jeepers the quality is horrible in terms of parts actually fitting. It feels sturdy but you can be stuffed correctly fitting any of it first time simply. Ensure you’ve got a hammer and a spare Allan key to tighten bolts (which they don’t really explain which is which).

  • Anyone else having trouble with getting the height adjustment for the swings right with the 360 Mini?

I got both the baby swing and the regular swing and both seem to set way too low for the Mini. I wondered if maybe they werent meant only for the larger models, but the Vuly website seems to suggest they suit 'all models'.

PS) Put the frame together by myself, it wasn't easy, nearly lost my mind a few times. Glad to hear I wasn't the only one after some of the above comments!

I put non-Vuly swings on from my previous swing set. Similar issue. Ended up tying a knot in the ropes to shorten them. Gives the kids a little handle on the rope to grab too :-)

I put the Mini Large together with another person. Yikes. I don’t think it would have been possible with 1. Had to pry the bars apart slightly to get them to fit into the 2 holes of the legs.

Quality seems good now that it’s together. Has some sway which is expected with a sleeve design… but I feel like my kids are safe. The included ground pegs are great.
