Just popped into my local Coles (world square Sydney CBD) and saw an abundance of Lindt Easter Chocolate on sale for 75% off. I believe it should be across all Coles so please check your local Coles if they have stock. I spent $30 without blinking!

Is it just me or has Lindt decreased in quality over the years, I remember it being much more creamy - now it tastes fairly similar to Cadbury.
Maybe age or batch variance? I had both and Lindt was still vastly better and the eggs more creamy.
Could be, the last time I bought Lindt it was from a Kmart special - perhaps they sell a different quality of product?
I would not think so. But who knows, could age, how they were stored/temperature, your taste buds changing? Maybe you might like Red Tulip now! :D
@Xizor: I am used to Whittakers so perhaps that is what is throwing me off. Lindt and Cadbury just taste sugary to me in comparison.
@EDM: We consume mostly whittakers also. Love it! Most Lindt items are thin not thick like Whittakers, so i think that is a factor, but yeah in general whittakers is creamier. But Lindt is still vastly superior to Cadbury IMO. The Lindt solid eggs however are pretty creamy.
Lindt still makes nice chocolate truffle thingys but their easter bunnies and bar chocolate tastes awful. I prefer cadbury over lindts overpriced thin chocolate blocks to be honest.
Anyone know if any of the Coles stores around Melbourne have these prices?
