Home Phone - cordless

I'm chasing a new cordless home phone. Does anyone have any recommendations or seen any good deals out there? Would appreciate any feedback. Not fussed about tech capabilities, multiple handsets etc. Just want something that is reasonable quality.

      A quick search on the 9200A showed Good Guys selling for $84. Phone has had good reviews though so can get Officeworks to beat it by 5%. Or otherwise beat Good guys down a bit with cash.

      And Panasonic is generally good.

      I've always hated the poor quality and dreadful batteries in the cheaper Unidens.

      But I notice that some of them are now using AA's, in which case you could drop some Eneloops in there.

    We've had 3 Uniden phones in the past, and they've all died in record time. Never again.

    Agree with Tonester comment above… Siemens are the best!

    We have tried Uniden Panasonic and both have been a failure in different ways… basically a waste of time and money.

    We have had a Siemens 3 piece set for over a year now and they are what all cordless phones should be… well made, reliable, long battery life, loud volume, easy to use.
