AMD Ryzen 9 3900X CPU $748 (w. Free Shipping) @ Newegg Australia

180

Great deal on AMD's beastly 8C/16T 12C/24T Zen 2 CPU - a little bit cheaper than the deal up on Amazon. Zen 3 should be coming later this year but with the current situation, who knows when AMD will actually put something out especially when they are already on top of the competition.

Remember to pair this up with a good quality X570 motherboard, a decent power supply and good cooling as Ryzen 9 tends to be quite demanding when overclocked. A good value motherboard is the ASUS X570 TUG Gaming board but I prefer the ASUS ROG Strix X570 Gaming series instead for the added bling :)

Mod Note: Updated Cores and Threads Count.

Edit: It's now even cheaper on Amazon for $742: https://www.amazon.com.au/AMD-Ryzen-3900X-Processor-100-1000…

    • Ah yep. Some really good deals on the 3900X. I'll add the link into the OP.

  • Amazon is now at $742.

  • Does Amazon pay the import duty?

For products which have a customs value greater than $1,000 AU, Amazon Global Store will estimate and collect the taxes, customs duties, and fees which may apply to your order. Amazon Global Store will also permit the shipping carrier to clear your shipment through customs on your (or your recipient's) behalf. For your convenience, Amazon will estimate and collect at checkout an Import Fees Deposit together with the item price, and such funds will be used by the carrier to pay the relevant taxes, customs duties, and fees on your behalf, to the appropriate authorities.

  • Looks like all the Ryzen processors have dropped a bit on Amazon. 3600 is now $297
