      The 30% sale seems to happen about 3 times a year. I don't consider that an unreasonable time to wait for what is hardly an impulse buy.

        Do tell? I was just going to buy a Volstro off the Dell Outlet. How long ago was the last 30% off sale as I think this may just suit me down to the ground if there is one coming up :-)

    Usually when they discount the XPS range, it doesn't include the 15z.

    30% signature was not on 15z. and What is the point when that deal is not active now.
    You can always negg based on previous deals or saying new processor is coming up, sandy bridge will be outdated next year or prices will be lower in the future, bla , bla, bla.
    Your comment is well worth it, but without a negg.

    Yes but you can't change the battery and I think all of the other covers are missing too.

        Yes you have to take the whole thing apart to get to it. That is a lot different from how easy and convenient it is to access on the the other Dell laptops.

        that would be because the XPS Z is Dell's answer to the Macbook Pro.

  Um, anyone know why we can't configure the XPS 15z with an i7? Seems i5 is the only option… I'm sure the USA store lets you choose!

  Yes, they do come with i7. its only the discount, you dont get on them. See all here:

  15z is a pretty sleek and good looking laptop and good price than the other brand sleep models.

  Secondly, if you want to have discount on all 15z, wait one more week. In October NRMA and other road side assistant members can avail 15% discount on 15z.

  So my suggestion is, to wait till mid october, when mostly dell have deals coming. If they dont, avail the 15% NRMA member discount.
