  • Are there any designed with sports/running in mind? i.e. with the inner ear hooks to prevent falling out/movement.

    • i think the force HD is suitable for you or the truewings model, but this model doesn't have a promotion now

  • Is it the SoundPEATS Truebuds True Wireless Earbuds can use either one for phone calling?

    • yes, both earbuds can be used alone

      • spcoker, can you please stop writing [Amazon Promotion] in your deal title? This part is not necessary, Your store name should be written as AMR Direct via Amazon. Thanks

        • ok, thanks for your suggestion, I will correct, nice day

          • @spcoker: Also your "up to 20%" line is a clickbait. Of the 5 items you have listed, only 1 is 20% off. 3 others are 10% off, and 1 is 15% off.

            • +1

@m9: So i have a "Up to" not 20% off directly
hope you can understand, not all the items can have a discount of 20%

              • -2

                @spcoker:

not all the items can have a discount of 20%

Then what's the point to mention it in the title if only 1 item is at 20% off?

                • +2

@m9: ok, friend, I will pay attention to my text next time, sorry for misleading you

                • +1

@m9: To be fair, a lot of shop did the same thing up to xx%.

  • do they work with Zoom or MS teams on a PC?

    • +1

As long as your device is Bluetooth 4.0 or above, they can work with our earbuds, please don't worry

    • +1

Any bluetooth headphones will work on a pc for teams/zoom. The real question is whether they work well. I would be looking for comfort, ability to cancel background noises through the mic, ability to clearly pic up voice through the mic, ability to stay connected without drop-outs. I use some Taotronics over ear cans and they do the job well, but I also have some QCY buds which are terrible. So YMMV.

      • i got jbl which says they dont support zoom/ teams

        • Why don’t they support it? Do they have a mic? When connecting to your pc, can you select it as a speaker or mic in sound settings?

          • @maruko: maybe they dont have bluetooth5.0

            • @Ehty: Maybe I am missing something. Do you need bluetooth 5.0 to work with teams? I have a pair of Bluetooth 4.2 headphones that work fine.

              • @maruko: I am just guessing, I just got one and they dont work. when contacted JBL below is their response.

Our JBL Tune 750BTNC uses standard Bluetooth protocol for audio communication. Unfortunately, most of our headphones do not support Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other similar services. We do not mention Skype or Microsoft Teams support anywhere in the manuals or tech sheets, and therefore we do not support it, and any malfunction is a consequence of this type of use not being supported

Still patiently waiting for these to go on sale…

    • maybe 21th, dear friend, please wait patently and pay attention to our store

Op see true engine able to use with 2 devices simultaneously?

    • Also interested to know this

    • no, just the earbuds can be used alone. One earbud with one device and another earbud with another device

  • Do you recommend any of these for work conference calls via Zoom or Microsoft teams?

    • I also look for one for teleconference, i.e. good for calling and listening in a not quiet area.

    • The mics on these cheap tws will never be great. Just be prepared for it.

      • I have the Truedot and I have no problem talking with my mum last night.

She is over 90 and seem she could hear it clearly.

        • Were you in a noisy office when you called or a quiet room?

FYI I have the truedot and they are the worst of any tws I have used - mic wise.

          • @onlinepred: Quiet room but actually I don't use it often for calling. I use Xiaomi as my main hands free calling.

            • @superforever: Yea I had the midots and they are marginally better than very bad. All will perform decently in a quiet environment though.

              • @onlinepred: What do you think about Truebuds for calling? Will it better because of the long design?

                • @superforever: Another ozb I've been talking to bought them with call quality as a main criteria, returned them as they were quite bad.

                  • @onlinepred: Thanks I will keep my Xiaomi for calling and Truedot just for music.

                    • @superforever: The review seems OK but I think in noisy office not many earphone can handle it even the Xiaomi I am using now.

Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth is what I am using

                      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RarFCxNpolg

                      • @superforever: The plantronics I use can handle office noise easily. You just need a good processor and multiple mics.

                        • @onlinepred:

The plantronics I use can handle office noise easily

OK you are using plantronics that is why, of course they are better and more expensive.

I am currently using the $10 Xiaomi Mi bluetooth and mostly not in noisy office or on the street. So I think Truebuds should be fine or even Truedot.

Ordered Truebuds just because Truedot not so comfortable and dropped off sometime.

                          • @superforever: I compare most things to any other tws buds I have like Airpods, Jabra 65t, MiDots, SoundPeats TrueDot.

                        • @onlinepred: Do you have a link for plantronics? Any good deal at the moment?

  • Thanks for this! I literally placed and order and didn't out in the code :(

  • Hey, I placed an order a few hours ago for the SoundPeats TrueBuds for $58.99. I just cancelled my order so I could order with the code as I didn't use it before but now it says unavailable. Any chance it'll be back in stock or I can get my order back?

    • hi, friend
This item is available, Amazon close this item wrongly and ut may take 1 day about to solve this issue, i will talk with Amazon and restore this products soon, please don't worry

      • The Truebuds are listed as available again but HYUJJZMJ doesn't seem to work.

      • I'll try purchasing again with the code. Ive our based quite a few pairs of earbuds from you in the past and very happy with the quality! Thanks

        • hi, friend, the truebuds has restored, you can buy it now with the code

  • Rep, will there be any offer for trueair in near future?

    • Seconded. Been waiting on this for the past 3 deals. Can't come to terms with paying full price…

    • maybe 21th, dear friend, but I can't sure for I don't receive the result yet

      • Me too.
        TrueAir please.
I already own your Truengine SE; which are INCREDIBLE.

The 'True Buds' are useless with such a short battery life per listen.

We're in Australia here; if it's a long enough trip to need entertainment, odds are it's more than 2 hours, one way.
I dont want to stop to charge half way through my nightly walk\jog.

          • @superforever: They have a signifcantly smaller battery, thats how.

Hence the 3.5hr vs 5hr ratings.

            • @MasterScythe: Are you really talking about Truebuds from my link?

              • @superforever: Yes.
                TrueBuds:
                Working Time: About 3.5 hours

                TrueAir:
                Working Time: About 5 hours

                Which manual are you downloading?

                • @MasterScythe: OK a bit confused by the site, you are right.

                  • @superforever: Interesting Truedot have longer play time than Truebuds

                    • @superforever: yes, the physically larger earbuds usually will.
They also are only pushing a 6mm driver, not a 14mm, so if the impedance is kept about the same, will need less amplifier to drive them..

                      • @MasterScythe: Understand now, hopefully the 14mm driver on the Truebuds should have better sound than Truedot and the most important if it is more comfortable to wear.

                        • @superforever: No passive isolation means they 100% won't sound better. There is no seal due to the tip design.

                          • @onlinepred:

No passive isolation means they 100% won't sound better. There is no seal due to the tip design.

Trying it now. You are correct no passive isolation I can hear other sound around, if push it in a bit more a little better. Sound very similar to Truedot but Truebuds more comfortable to wear.

In that case how about TrueAir, should be similar because of the tip design. Apple AirPods should have the same problem unless AirPods Pro.

You must have tried a lot difference models XD.

                            • @superforever: Yea I've tried loads haha. It all matters if you want in ear or semi in ear.

                          • @onlinepred: That's VERY situational.
For example, any in-ear sound isolation earphones sound like ASS if you sing along.

They also 'scrape' if you wear a hoodie.

AND some people are very conscious of their own body sounds with in-ear.

                            • @MasterScythe: Yep, and you haven't even touched upon how terrible the mic quality is on these cheapo buds. Found it very hard to replace headphones. I hate in ear though as I physically can't stand the underwater blocked feeling from them, and then the semi-in ear sound like ass when you go out and about. So really hard. I'm looking forward to seeing Bose and Samsungs next bean style buds that are semi-in ear with ANC. Should be VERY interesting!

                              • @onlinepred: I have the TrueDots, the TrueEngine SE, and hopefully soon the TrueAir.

While the truedots are so-so (about the quality of using speakerphone on your handset), the TrueEngine is amazingly clear.
Even just testing in sound recorder and playing it back, its so clear and the background noise is gone.
A little quiet, yes, but that's the only complaint.

                                • @MasterScythe: The Truedots are absolute trash in regards to call quality. I have owned AirPods 1/2, Galaxy Buds, MiDots, TrueDots, Loads of QCY cheapos, TrueEngine SE, Freebuds 3, Bose Soundsport and MANY wireless headphones. I'm really not sure how people think they are so acceptable, it's like they must usually make calls underwater so don't know what clear audio and background noise isolation actually sounds like. These buds are good cheapo TWS buds, that's it mate, don't take it too far. The one thing paying more usually gets you, is better mic ability. Sure it isn't always the case, but true about 90% of the time. I have a fascination with cheapo buds, and keep buying them, but so far there hasn't been a single great all rounder.

                                  • @onlinepred: I wouldn't say galaxy and bose are cheap?

                                    • @Poor Ass: No sorry I didn't mean that at all, just meant I've owned them, in addition to many cheapos

                                  • @onlinepred: They sound as good as using the phone handheld; so I'm not sure what else people expect.
It's no VoLTE, but it's certainly GSM quality.

Have you ever had your ears modeled for custom earplugs or anything?
Since the small earbuds rely on your ears shape to cancel sound reverb, perhaps yours are different to a large majority?

I know mine reflect slightly more of the high end in a sound-test than others.
Proper hearing reports and ear-modeling are fun things.

                                    • @MasterScythe: Even in a silent room I get colleagues and friends asking what's wrong with the phone as I sound. I switch to my Cloud 2 or even Jabra 65t and they can instantly tell the difference, even then it's not the same as my S10e mics and it's background isolation which is leagues ahead. Assuming you have a very cheap Chinese phone perhaps, without decent isolation? The pure nature of the mics, not being in front or near your mouth, they are destined to failure. The literally have to amplify the sounds, and then try and remove out the background. It's terrible.

                                      • @onlinepred: Nope, I have a Blackberry Key2

                                        • @MasterScythe: Do you hold the phone on your face or use speakerphone? Is it broken? Or are the mic holes clogged up perhaps? Seems crazy that the mics in the Key2 are only as good as a $20AUD generic TWS earbud.
Check out the tech in the Freebuds 3 tws, I mean even with all that, it's still not anywhere near as good as a phone, but it's still leagues ahead of QCY tws.

                                          • @onlinepred: All of the above sound about as clear as my studio mic with single layer pop filter.
The Sounpeats are quieter, but that's all.

                                            • @MasterScythe: Sounds like you could have saved money on your studio mic and just used these then. Okay, not sure what's going on there mate. Will just leave it there.

                                              • -1

@onlinepred: Sounds like you have a dud is all.

And no, these don't have balanced XLR or anything (clearly….), so you can't "just use these" in a recording setup.

                                                • @MasterScythe: I thought so too, it's why I asked for a replacement on my first set, but second set was exactly the same. Sound like perhaps you got a dud that somehow is better than everything else out there.

                                                  • @onlinepred: It's certainly not better than everything else.
If you have a HD\VoLTE call, that's CLEARLY better on the handset.

However, if you're on a normal 3G GSM network, it's pretty much the same, just quieter.

                                                    • @MasterScythe: Not in my experience with any soundpeats, and even with expensive earbuds or heaphones. The only ones that sound remotely close to any mobile phone I have owned are specialised sets like my work plantronics set. Literally any call or recording I'm talking about, nothing to do with HD calls. The problem isn't do with encoding or streaming, it's the physical mic location, isolation methods, distance from source vs distance from mic to determine background noise, chipset that does isolation like RT or QC, and this isn't even touching on the actual mic hardware. I mean these don't even have wind protection!!!! Better sounding buds use bone conduction as a way of isolation in addition to multiple mics. Anyway, my friends/family/colleagues and I must have super insane hearing or something as we can all hear the difference instantly. Seemingly reviewers can tell the difference too.

                                                      • @onlinepred: Just did my first call (at home quiet) with my new Truebuds, so far so good no complaint from the other end and I could also hear him very clearly.

Semi-InEar is so much better for calling, they won't sound like ASS XD.

in-ear sound isolation earphones sound like ASS if you sing along.

                                                        • -1

@superforever: Yep, I think onlinepred has just had bad experience, or perhaps falls into a vocal range\ear shape that the tuning doesnt approve of.
At least I know I'm not the odd one out, here.

                                                          • +1

                                                            @MasterScythe:

At least I know I'm not the odd one out, here.

I think he did a lot outdoor noisy calls, with my Xiaomi Mi headset I also have problem sometime when noisy.

BTW, I am only using cheap TCL Plex with VoWiFi on Boost mobile.

Also the Truebuds battery seems gone faster (according to the % from my phone) . I know Truedot have longer battery life but still won't gone down that quick, may be just because it is new needs a few more charge to get it up to speed.

                                                            • @superforever: With "Up To 3.5Hrs" You'd be expecting 3 hours at 50% volume, and 2.5 hours at 75%.

                                                          • @MasterScythe: Talked to two people now who bought these, both said calling us only passable when indoors with no background noise. Which backs up all technical ability, design and chipset capabilities. They seem decent for ultra cheap tws though. Seems they perhaps sent you airpods by mistake haha

                                                        • @superforever: How are you finding them after a day of use?

Another call outside home at somebody office (some sound not very noisy) Phone have 4G connection (VoLTE)

The guy at the other side said I am under water, at first I used only the left hand side and put both on but he said the same.

May have to do more testing on 4G.

@Ehty: I just bought the Huawei Freebuds 3, they were fantastic for calls. More expensive though

                    • @onlinepred: I may just end up splashing on JABRA 65t.

                • @onlinepred: No, I meant because they can't hear the traffic….. Though to be fair, my bedroom DOES back onto a train track.
