    Watch out for the exchange rate on these, if you’re using them outside the USA. The gift cards are converted from USD to the local currency, often not a great exchange rate.

  • It's unlikely that Marriott will go under - they're too big to fail. Having said that, it's happened before - if a 2nd wave of Corona happens then you never know.

    Watch out though, these cards cannot be used on prepaid rates. Postpaid rates are usually ~20% more expensive, which negates any savings. Marriott will be selling points at 60% off next week, which IMO could be a better deal.
