      You’ll find most auto clubs offer a ‘lifestyle’ membership. They’re still good for using when travelling to get a discount at many hotels and attractions, just by showing your card (i.e. they don’t check what membership level you are). The 15% discount at Thrifty will probably save you at least as much as the membership cost in a single hire, definitely more if you’re hiring for a week or more. The Repco discount is best used on the weekends they have their big sales for auto club members only when you easily get 20-30% off (great for stocking up on filters).

    Can you sign up with a fake tas address and use the united petroleum discount intersate? Is it an actual card posted out or a digital membership so its all online ?

      The welcome email with confirmation did say that 'you can take advantage of online discounts and RACT product and service benefits immediately simply by quoting your membership number printed on this form' but i ended up not receiving any discount at United Petroleum because they require a physical card. The email didnt specify so I called 132722 and the lady told me i do need a physical card and not everything can be honoured with the "membership number" in the email.
