  • I can't find any information about this model on the AU Lenovo website, nor can I see anywhere to redeem a cashback for it on the Lenovo site.

    • I couldn't find it on the main Lenovo AU site either, but I did find it here:
      http://www.lenovopromo.com.au/cash/intel/eligible-products.h…

      • Thanks…
I wonder what you are supposed to do in the future for bios updates and driver/manual downloads? Would be interesting to see if the "auto detect model" tool on the support site works with this unit.

  • Products must be ordered and paid for within the offer period of 1st April 2011 until 30 September 2011. Cashback deal is over.

    • According to the link I posted just above, there's a new promo running from 1-31 October, and this model is included.

yeah, just noticed that, they should take down the other page, might confuse people.

        • Did you pick one up there? Any chance of receipt scan? I think I'm going to grab one this weekend!

  • I picked one of these up from OrangeIT's Wynyard store a couple of weeks ago. Price was $389 after $50 cashback, though supply was limited. A great little laptop with decent specs - unusual to get dedicated graphics at such a low price.

    • +1!

how is it so far, i've been looking at this for a while now coz it's also on ebay, same price. Is there really no USB 3.0? cheers!

      • Sorry only just saw your reply. It's a great laptop though yes alas no USB 3.0. Can't really complain at this price thought. The keyboard is a joy to use and as mentioned by other posters has a numeric keyboard which is nice for a laptop…

  • I picked up one this arvo paid $435 before CB
Screen is better than most in this price range, but no where near my MacBook pro 17. The outside is a major fingerprint magnet, its lighter than I expected (good because it's replacing my netbook for traveling (photoshop, internetz, lolcatz)
No USB 3 it does have a hybrid esata/usb2 found on dells, card reader is quite fast, the keyboard is very different but I could get used to it, it has dedicated arrow & Numberkeys on the right side, wifi speeds are great no issue so far streaming hd video from my buffalo NAS and works with Netflix

  • This is a steal, Core i3 with a HD6370, Numeric Keyboard (this makes a difference), 6 cell battery, would be a decent deal at $450.

  • Just bought one - thanks TBH!
This deal is also available at OrangeIT for anyone that can't get to MSY:

Might be going back for a second too….

  • Hey guys,

MSY in Pascoe Vale has them for $439, so $389 after cashback. Got one yesterday - pretty impressed so far!
