Recommendations on Monitor with USB C Passthrough I/O for use with MacBook Pro

Hey everybody,
First forum post here!

I'm looking for some suggestions on a monitor. I currently have a MacBook Pro with 4 type C/ThunderBolt 3 ports and in the interest of productivity would like to get a monitor for my workspace.

Interested in something with USB C passthrough to avoid having to use dongles but am open to suggestions - don't have a particular price range in mind just hoping for some sound advice.

I don't game at all but will be used for music, film, business and other creative production.. how I have gone this long without an external display I don't know 😅

Thanks in advance!

Been looking at https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-24-usb-c-monitor-p2419h… as a budget option. Not sure on how it performs through.

Friend bought this one for that expact purpose; works fine with their MBP13

Around $280 on the Dell Outlet As New

In terms of performance it's only 1080p, 250nits and not the best colour accuracy but single cable overrules that

A bit pricier, but the LG 27UL850 has served me well. It's a 27" 4K IPS with FreeSync and is 5ms & 1000:1. It has two usb ports on the back which we attach to an easier to access hub.

The USB-C passthrough is really good. We leave the keyboard and mouse plugged in permanently and have a laptop stand adjacent to the monitor (which is mounted on a swinging VESA arm). It's great swapping between work/personal/partner's laptop with a single cable for everything (power, display, usb, sound) and keeps our small apartment desk clean.

On the rare occasion we need to use an old desktop without Thunderbolt, it becomes a two-cable job:
    * a displayport we leave permanently plugged in (sound, display)
    * a USB 2 type A to USB C cable we temporarily swap for the laptop Thunderbolt cable (kb, mouse and spare usb port).

Got this one, a pretty good and quality screen with USB-c. Power supply is only 61W and not enough to keep battery at 100% for 15inch MacBook Pro if anything consumes cpu heavily. Otherwise works fine.
