Ha. As if anyone is going anywhere.

Mite be handy in 2 years.

It's described as an "australia adapter" but does not have a Tick so it's not certified for Australia (or Europe for that matter as no CE mark). All those fuses could be for show, that's why we get certification.

When I travel I only take things that are USB chargable (not even AAs) so I would get an aliexpress 3 or 4 port USB charger with the required destination pin config fro around $5. Saved a lot of weight doing this on the Camino de Santiago walk. If you need to travel with your laptop, just get a cord with the right ends on it. I was going to do that, but USB only policy made it easier. Something like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32961047880.html

A lot better to just bring all your Au chargees and a Au power board and convert the power board instead.

      • Not when weight is an issue. But if weight is not, sure great idea. In fact I do that in my home. I have a US powerboard running from my 110V transformer. I run all my 110V items from there, back when Amazon US would should ship to AU. But my example was specifically for weight saving when travelling internationally. My setup saved me critical weight I did not want that on my back walking 800km from southern France across Northern Spain.

  • Small plug conversion adapter cost $2-5 from a local flee market. You only need two - US and EU for travelling with you own AU charger.

  • over the years I've bought about 3 of these multi country things and none of them lasted more than a month…
    are ay of them quality???

  • Used to be 30% off
