Yes, it is an old model, and reviews aren't that favourable but it is a decent camera for the price IMO and I have one myself and it has served me well. It also comes with a bonus Dick Smith Digital Camera Bag. Got mine for nearly $300 a couple of years back and besides from the lower than average battery life, the pictures look bright and vivid and landscape photos have alot of depth. Great point a shoot camera!

    On a more interesting note this is the first camera review I have ever read that makes use of the word doppelganger.

    I personally believe a good camera is one that can take good pictures in various conditions - not just sunny outdoor. Panasonic Lumix range are generally good IMHO and I switched to them after a number of sony compacts.

    Are they STILL trying to flog this old 2010 model Sony? This model was superceded back in February!! The new Sonys are W560 and W570, etc.
