    Excellent mouse. Good price.

I just bought one and it seems to be laggy and stutter when connected over Bluetooth to my 2014 MacBook Pro. When I use the dongle that it comes with it works fine. Anyone else having the same problem?

    • +1

Yeah I have had this before, you're experiencing interference, most likely from your Wi-Fi. I had issues previously when using a 4G Wi-Fi modem when I was downloading a large file. My fix was to use the 5GHz Wi-Fi.

      • yeah I also read about this on some Reddit posts. Probably too many devices using 2.4GHz Wi-Fi around which interfere with the Bluetooth. Well dongle it is lol.

Had this problem with other Logitech models too, I think the BT radio isn't as strong as the logtiech unifying one

Had this problem, slightly different scenario. Stutter with bluetooth, perfect with wifi adapter on my PC. When synced to my iMac it works fine either way.

Thanks for the hint. My 2013 MBP 15" Retina has BT interference issues since the beginning and after multiple hardware fixes it still has some, occasionally. Usually works fine with Magic Mouse, but BT speakers are no go.

    • Have you got the app installed? Check if "flow" is enabled, that made mine super laggy.

    i cant log in.

You have no authority to login.
How do we get this to work now ?

is there an ELI5 to get a free account with them? :-?

  • Great mouse! I bought this for full price from JB last week.

    • +7

      Full price!? For shame!

    • +2

That probably means that you don't have an account!

  • I bought it at 109 last year! great mouse!

    • y the downvote????

I've got this mouse, everything about it is great except for the scrolling, it's inconsistent in ratchet mode and temporarily stops if you lift the mouse. Logitech are aware there's a problem but seem to be refusing to acknowledge it: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/3600352321…
I've turned off ratchet mode and it's useable now, but not something I expected to need to do for a $150 mouse.

    • Scrolling sucks with this mouse.

  • How many iterations does this mouse need?

    • I have a version of this mouse from around 10 yrs ago and it's still going strong; so for me, only one iteration. :)

is that from the mx5500 revolution combo?

        • Nope, was bought half price when logitechshop was a good source of bargains back in the day.
Just grabbed it out of the laptop bag, specific model was the MX Performance.

      • I used like 3, they die after while, user to had 3year warranty.

    • This one is the best yet IMO. I'm also going to try the other end of the spectrum with Mm710 at 53 grams.

Fyi if you're upgrading from previous mx versions the design and ergonomics have changed quite significantly between the old and new. Version three is quite a bit smaller and personally the arrow buttons aren't quite the same quality feeling, but that's largely preference.

I'd highly suggest going instore first to try it if you can. I was personally not happy with the new version coming from the original mx master, but as previously mentioned that is largely personal preference.

  • Bought this mouse a month ago for $129. Really like this mouse with my 2017 MacBook Pro via Bluetooth. Highly recommended.

  • I bought this mouse 6 months ago to replace my MX 2s but the bluetooth would fail to reconnect when unlocking my laptop so I'd have to restart bluetooth so I returned it. I should have tried the WiFi dongle but shouldn't have had to.

  • says $116…..

  • This or logitech vertical mouse?

    • This, unless you need a major change where normal mouse ergo's give you issues.

    • I have had wrist problems for years and as gimmicky as they first seemed, I am a big fan of vertical mice. I started off with Evoluent's models, then thought I would go back to a normal one. Wrist pain came back, so splashed for the Logitech Vertical Mouse - got a price beat at OW two months ago against either Scorptec or Centre Com. Works a treat.

  • Any better options for the money?

    • Depends what you are looking for. Lots of different options for different needs. Would you use the dual scroll wheels and ratcheting scroll wheel? Do you use a mouse heavily across the day?

      • I use a mouse heavily at work all day. The side scrolling will be cool if I get the hang of it. I have never used a ratcheting scroll wheel so idk.

I was suffering from a bit of RSI using a crappy cheapo mouse on Solidworks and Adobe cs and changed to this one along with a gel mouse pad and all my problems have been solved, great mouse easily a good investment

This or the G Pro Wireless?

  • +1

I'm keen to buy the mouse, but don't have a login. Anyone able to help?

    • Me too… Brisbane south side!

I would personally go with the cheaper 2S where the difference is not massive but the price can be quite different when both go on sale.

  • Any reason why you wouldn't be able to use TGG gift cards bought from AGL rewards for commerical orders?

  • how to get TGG commercial? whats the criteria - any threads or forum discussion?

Keep spamming them and good guys commercial. I had to follow up a few times and they escalated and got it done next day.

      Karen mode only when necessary.

    • Strange, I got it within 10 mins and that was last night at 10pm. Through Sunsuper.

  • I imported the grey version of the mx master 3 because i'm a snob

Waited 2 months for it to arrive. It's nice and I can't go back to any other mouse.

Works like a dream in linux but MacOS doesnt always sync with the scroll / ratchet to free scroll mechanism.

    so head up mac users

    • +2

yes I wanted the grey version, not sure why they won't bring it to Australia. where did you get it from?

      does the lighter grey stain?

      • Hasn't stained yet

        Got it via AliExpress store

And it cost too much compared to local stock (ozbargainer shame)

I'm sure googling grey MX master 3 will show the seller

        Edit: USD126

        Sometimes you gotta treat yourself

    • How much was the grey version and where?

      • Replied above and got it from my receipt here
        https://m.aliexpress.com/item/4000443654673.html

And again it took 2 months to arrive

        • hmmm … 60-70 USD is about $95-105 incl currency conversion fees … hmmmm probs better to buy here?

          • @db2k: Yeah and you get AU warranty here

I just really really wanted grey

  • Times ticking for eofy

Get this and be a pimp or go for 45 dollar viper mini

  • Got one thanks op

  • OP, can you see what do they offer for MX Keyboard for commercial customers? Thanks

    • hear hear =) MX Keys pleys

    • Haha I was eyeing one as well. Not in the commercial store when I ordered my mouse.

  • TWO things that I hated about the Master 2S are the scroll wheel and the button clicks.

    Scroll Wheel:
    - loud rachet sound in normal mode
    - too loose in free spinning mode

    Buttons:
    - Sounds louder than average mouse
    - Noisy for gaming

I've switched to the Logitech G703 and it doesn't have those two issues above. Couldn't be happier.
