Parramatta Cameras and Sony Bonus Giftcard Promotion Eligibility

Parramatta Camera is selling the Sony A7III for $2548 until midnight. https://www.parramattacameras.com.au/sony-alpha-a7-iii-body

Sony A7III gets a $400 eftopos giftcard.

They haven't mentioned the bonus giftcard on the listing but other cameras which on the promo do have the giftcard mentioned.

If it is eligible, it brings the A7III down to $2148.

Got less then 3 hours, should I pull the trigger and hope for the best?

      Yeah, read that part and Parramatta's been in previous promos it seems.

      It's this part in the T&C's that has me a little worried.

      "To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase either outright or with retailer finance an Eligible Product from a participating Sony Australia authorised dealer during the Purchase Period and the purchase must not have been made under any other offer or discount provided by a participating Sony Australia authorised dealer (“Qualifying Purchase”)."

      If I play it safe, I can get it from Video Pro for about $2370 after discount. So it's take the risk and be up $200 if it works or down $200 if it doesn't.

        Yeah, it's really unclear! I am after the same camera, but looks like I am going to wait. Maybe in a month or so, the prices might actually stabilize, who knows? They are going to announce a camera or two in upcoming weeks, that MIGHT impact as well.

        The don't show up on the Sony website as an authorised reseller, but if you check the address it's the same address as the Camera House Parramatta, which is an authorised reseller.

        So it looks like they are using a 2nd website to get around head office pricing. However, if the invoice doesn't state Camera House, then you probably won't qualify for the redemption.

    Give it a miss. The promo has only been around for a day. There's a chance of sub $2k which would obviously be easier if you could do trs.

    Decided to give it a miss. I'd have to build up my FF lens set quite a bit to match my APSC set and with things right now in Vic, I won't be able to use it enough to make it worth over waiting for the next bargain. With the new Sony A7SIII coming soonish, there's probably going to be a few 2nd hand A7III on the market later.
