I think this is an awesome deal for an awesome Ultra portable laptop

i’ve been searching for the cheapest place to order one, they’re out of stock everywhere in AUS.
Will come in in about 1-2 weeks
(prices might even rise due to demand like the 8800gt when it first came out :P)

here are the specs

  • CPU: 1.6-GHz Intel Atom
  • RAM/Expandable to: 1GB/2GB
  • Hard Drive Size/Speed: 80GB/5,400 rpm

personally i’ve ordered a white one ^^ i plan to by the 6 cell battery when it comes out, should be around 60 bucks on ebay + i can sell the old on for lik 20-30 :P

Good find! However the specs are not clear as they have 512/1GB in the RAM section and 1.3/0.3 for the camera. Staticice listings all say 1GB versions.

it’s 1 gb model, i called and it was a typo, + msi only ships 1gb with all versions

The battery is a 3-cell. Not as god as the eeePC. I’m sticking with the eeePC from JB-Hi-Fi.

6 cell will be out in 1-2 months, you can buy it seperatly, based on eeepc bats on ebay i would say no more than $60 for the msi 6 cell, + u can sell the old one for lik 20-30 bucks which makes it around $600 for the machine+6cell.

Lighter than the 1000h, cheaper and thinner as well, rest pretty much the same.

sorry folks, they’ve updated the price due to demand LOL! it’s now $650 bucks lucky i was fast and ordered one for $570 :P
