  • Can it connect two headphones at the same time as the picture show?

    • +1

According to the description above it does.

Cable Free Roaming: You can pair with two headphones or speakers at once.

    • +1

      Yes, it can.

      • And therefore play music to those 2 paired speakers?

        • +1

          Yes

      • And it can play on both at the same time or one at a time?

        • +1

          Both at the same time.

    • Yes

  • How do you pair headphones to these sort of things when they dont have a display

    • +3

Press and hold the button until the light flashes blue & red and then put your headphones into pairing mode.

If you are wanting to connect two pairs of headphones/speakers, just repeat this process a second time.

      • Thank you

  • +2

    thank you.

  • -1

Too late already bought it earlier….. Didn't think this was coming

  • +3

Does anyone know if this will allow me to use Buds+ mic on a PS4?

    • +1

Im curious as well. This would be the main reason for me. Using optical out, should work. I decided to buy one to test it.

      • +1

Let me know how it does. I can always buy one at a later date.

  • Was thinking about a bluetooth adapter for an old school ghetto blaster I have. This looks like it would do the trick? Possibly a bit overkill though, and maybe not as portable as it could be. But I don't want to mess with the internals.

    • +5

The BA09 was built for this.

  • Anything smaller for use with my Nintendo switch of 3DS?

  • +4

    Any discount for the TT-BA07?

  • thanks, purchased the dual transmitter.

  • +2

Would have been awesome if it turned itself on when it gets power from the usb. It's a deal breaker for me because I wanted to use it in my car hidden away.

The car one looks ok and I'll try that.

  • I have connected this to the TV via Toslink and found that all my bluetooth headphones and various bluetooth speakers have considerable sound delay making it a bit awkward to watch using it.

    • Thanks for the feedback, that was the use case I was interested in, but looks like I saved $40

      • +5

Lag is an issue with Bluetooth devices in general and can depend on a lot of different factors, distance, interference, devices used, etc.

The BA09 has aptX-LL, tech designed to reduce Bluetooth lag, so if you connect with Headphones or Speakers that also have aptX you shouldn't have any issues.

    • Thanks for the heads up. Ended up canceling my order.

I have used this model also connected via toslink, and I didn't encounter any noticeable delay. I mainly had mine connected to the Xbox for gaming (only sound, didn't try for mic).

    • +2

Because all your bluetooth headphones and speakers are NOT Low-Latency headphones/speakers, so Yes, it will have audio lag. you need both ends to be Low latency devices.

      • +1

        +1
You'll need speakers/headphones that support APTX-LL as well.

Anyway, I already put an order.
        Thanks reps.

      • and so I need to throw out all my bluetooth headphones and speakers and replace with LL gear? That will be close to $1K down the drain.

        • @Logical: If you want to have No Audio lag when watching Video/TV then you can upgrade to new gear with Low Latency Bluetooth Technology, or you can find Low Latency Bluetooth receiver for your speakers (if they have Line in/Aux in) then you can reuse your speakers.
With headphones I am afraid you may need to buy new headphones with LL codec. That’s what I had to do in my case, because even my expensive Sony and Bose Bluetooth headphones had terrible audio delay when I watch TV/Youtube.
Other users said no audio delay but with Bluetooth there is always delay more or less depending on how picky you are. I am very picky so I hate audio delay even a little bit.

    • +3

I have the TT-BA09 connected via Toslink to a Toshiba TV. For listening, I connect 2 x Bose QC 35 and Bose SoundLink headphones.

Works fine for me without any audio delay whatsosever.

    • Appears to have a battery+on/off which is not ideal for TV. What you want is one without a battery or on off, that way use the TV's USB to power it and it will switch on/off with the TV. No point having it on when the TV is off and if it goes flat, then it will be off when you turn the TV back on.

Bought a HT4189BLK for my Dad awhile back and works well. Set with low latency transmitter and headphones. Transmitter turns on with the TV, headphones pair straight away and no lag that I noticed. Guess if you watch TV every <=15 hours then wouldn't be an issue, since presumably would never go flat and power off.

  • sale ended?

    • +3

Ordered BA09 with promo code a minute ago.

Thanks to xev, love you long time!

  • +1

Bought the non branded a few days ago for $31

  • Universal Car Aux Port Compatibility

I assume this means it's universal… as long as your car has an aux port. No aux port, no go?

    • +2

Yes, it plugs into a 3.5mm Aux port.

  • +1

I would love one of these that could be turned on via Bluetooth. For example, when I wake up I'd like to play some music from my speakers without having to get out of bed to turn the Bluetooth receiver on.

    • Wifi plug? 😂

    • I think if it is always connected to an always on usb, it will always stay on.

      • My partner has the BA07 that's always connected to USB but once Bluetooth disconnects it turns itself off.

  • +1

Waited for this deal and then pre ordered Avantree orbit !

  • +2

patience won! Been waiting as this is a want not need. Ordered BA09

  • OP can BA09 charged by using the USB port from TV? I got a wall mount setup. It will be a lot cleaner if the transmitter can Be charged by Tv USB port.

    • +1

It's 5v usb and only comes with a usb cable, so id be surprised if it couldn't. That said, I'd check to see if your TV powers the usb ports when they are not in use first. Sounds silly, but it's a thing on cheap TV's.

      • Easy! 5 v is not much, should be fine.

In term of the pairing and connecting to a BT head set is it easy to switch from device to device? I usually have one that primary connect to my iPhone.

  • Will this work to send Bluetooth audio from my computer and sperate Bluetooth audio from my phone, to my sony Bluetooth headset?

    Bluetooth headset is the wh1000xm3

    • +2

Negative. You won't be able to connect 2 'media' streaming devices to the headset. You can however connect the computer as a media streamer and the phone strictly as a phone call connection. Hope that makes sense

  • For the Bluetooth Car Kit, I don't have an AUX port in the car. Does connecting through the car charger allow me to play audio through my car speakers?

    • +1

No, it needs an Aux port to work.

  • Hi Rep

O2YXSD8F not working anymore? Has it expired?

    6I56B6GE is still working though.

    • +1

The deal limit for the BA09 has been reached so the code has expired.

The code for the BR04, 6I56B6GE is still active.

  • OP can I please know if this works, I cannot purchase, Im after BA-09.

The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

    • +1

The deal limit for the BA09 has been reached so the code has expired.

      • I tried applying the code this morning but there was no option available for it. They couldn’t have all sold out before 10am, right?

      • Any chance of a new code being issued?

  • The heading on this thread should be updated to state that it is expired. I have been unable to redeem either of the codes as at this morning.

It is misleading advertising to continue to promote this item here at a discounted price when It appears to be a case of bait advertising with a very limited number of discount code applications.

    • Umm.. the deal started yesterday.
      You missed it.

      • Fair call. It’s in me that I missed the deal. My bad luck. Congrats to those who checked the posts last night.

The issue here is the bait and switch advertising that is taking place at the time I am posting this. The BA09 is advertised within the thread in bold as being discounted, when apparently it is not once you sift through all the fine print. So you are left with the other two options that most people would not want even at a discounted price.

The thread title should reflect the current price of the BA09, otherwise it is engaging in bait and switch advertising which would otherwise be illegal in a commercial setting.

Thanks to the associate for posting this deal and we look forward to your next one, but please do the right thing with this post otherwise we could be forgiven for getting the wrong idea.

    • +1

The BR04 Car kit is still available.

The deal allotment for the BA09 has sold out and the code automatically expired. The link for the BA09 had been clicked over 1,500 times.

  • Damn missed the transmitter

  • All expired now

  • Maybe a stupid question, but if I plug in a toslink cable from my tv into the BA09 input, and another toslink cable from the BA09 output to my soundbar, does it pass the audio through when I'm transmitting through Bluetooth? I.e. I can play sound on my soundbar and two Bluetooth speakers?

  • Damnit can't believe I missed this, please have another discount soon!
