I wish I could have a spot to put I around my home. Still have plenty of legos bought haven’t set up yet!

  • Finally got it! :) Thanks

  • Has it been cheaper?

    • $340ish. Not for a long time.

    • +1

It has been $329 at Target. Posted on ozb earlier in the year

Since it was released in 2018, i suspect it would have to be close to retiring? I can't imagine it getting much cheaper than this.

Yes Target did have it for $329, but it was basically unobtainable. I tried several times when Target updated with stock and every time it got cancelled.

Not sure why the downvote, but okay…

            @birdie: Not sure either

@Tafe: Lots of salty neg voters. Dunno why they're salty though.

        • I have the boring one Taj Mahal 10256 as retiring soon . Sold same time at $329 at Targaet/Amazon .
I think seeming the first version went 40 X ( before the reprint crashed it ) this one should be good :)

Cashreward for another 4% off bringing it down to $366

    • Got one for $319.99 from Myer ebay last December plus another $25 voucher as they stuffed up my order.

      • Nice id like to get it for $320ish

        • I’d like to see another 20% off + another 20% off Lego offer from Myer ebay again too. Hopefully they will do it again in December but due to current economic climate, I doubt we would see similar discounts this year.

I regret not getting the tree house Lego last time.

Great deal. A really fun and challenging build!

  • Great deal, thanks op.

  • Hmmm might wait for a cheaper deal

  • Thanks OP. Buy first, think later where to put it now…

    • its cool bro, better than buy first and think later how to pay the credit card debt…..

  • I foresee scalpers cleaning out the stocks…

    • If I wanted to make decent returns I will go for the Lego Osprey instead

      • Where are these available?

      • That crazy selling for $800 on Ebay now around 27 X RRP :)

        Lego 42113 .

Best article I could find of why : https://www.stonewars.de/reviews/lego-technic-42113-bell-boe…

        • 2.7 not 27 :p

          • @justtoreply: What did the Osprey retail for?

          • @justtoreply: Lol had it at $30 so really not monster amounts above RRP but retailers that ended up with it are allowed to sell . By the look of thinks slowly releasing being smart .
There a bloody petition going also by fans with nearly 5K votes trying to release the set again .

Thanks op! Surprised hasn't sold out quickly like other Amazon deals

  • Hm. Used cashrewards app. The Orange page loading bar never went to 100% after clicking purchase. The purchase went through though. Reckon CR tracked?

    • Does CR even track toys anymore on amazon? I think they stopped a few months back.

      • It came back at 4% for CR and SB. Some other categories are back too. And some gone. I'm sure it'll keep changing.

  • can't add to cart

Nice! Very collectable but got no room unfortunately plus $380 is a bit to spend :(

    • Is it collectable if you open it and play with it? And if you don't open and play with it, what's the point. Why not just buy $380 in gold certificates.

      • it is still collectable if you open and use it. The price wont fetch as high in future but i rather open and use my sets than keep them in a box.

  • +1

I need to win lotto. So I can build a house with a Lego room (or wing!). And then afford all the kits to build in it.

    • +1

If I won the lotto I'd hire someone to buy hundreds of these kits and carefully design a huge house sized track, and it'd be programmed to bring me thimbles of rum.

  • I bought my set for $400, just finished it on the weekend. Was good fun!

Imagine the lego ‘resellers’ are all over these deals…

    • +1

Lego must make a killing on every set they sell, making these parts at scale and selling them all over the world, and they can't make some sets fast enough. But it's just plastic.

      • +2

yeah but good quality plastic. Refined and great quality! Thats why their prices are set higher than normal toys.

        • -2

I wonder though if Lego didn't litigate against clones would Lego be the number one building brick today. We could all be talking about collectable Mega Blocks or Lupin sets right now if things went a bit different.
