Panasonic NNST756BQPQ 44L Inverter Microwave $200 (C&C Only) @ David Jones

Looks like a good deal.

Unfortunately I can't pick it up because I'm in Covid Victoria.

Edit: thanks whoever made my title nice

The value may be right that is for sure.
I would be careful though as there does seem to be some not so good reviews?

    LG any day over this

  • What's an 'inverter' microwave?

    • -1

No turntable plate inside I believe

    • Just means it has no transformer, the inverter is electronic components so the microwave is more efficient and it's not heavy as the older microwaves not that you carry the around.

The biggest advantage I find with an inverter is you can reduce the power level and it regulates/reduces the heat properly. A non-inverter just uses full heat whenever its on, and turns on and off at varying intervals when you set a lower power level. I prefer to warm up some foods, rather than nuke them on and off, and for popcorn etc it works better.

I found stock in SA, I don't really need a microwave at the moment but good deal.

If in vic or country vic u can still drive to your neares David Jones that’s open

    • No DJs stores in Victoria except for the David Jones Food store in South Yarra are open. Nor are there any stores in country Victoria.

Well then you can always price beat at goodguys or hardly normal

        • Obsolete model no price beat

  • Is this worth the price? I wonder if I should grab anyways.

  • Damn I was waiting for a while for these to go on sale, gave up and bought an LG for $240

The general consensus on this panasonic model seemed to be the microwave itself is good but the doors break easily. My kids tend to slam the door to things so maybe I am better off with the LG :P

  • Not many reviews but all bad, missed out on the LG deal :(

  • this deal is back. Moderators can you make it active again
