2x Moisture Surge (50ml) $65 (Save $65) Shipped @ Clinique

This post contains affiliate links. OzBargain might earn commissions when you click through and make purchases. Please see this page for more information.

Clinique is offering a buy two for one deal (or does buy one get one free sound better? Either way…) on their popular Moisture Surge 72 hour replenishing hydrator.

The product is $65 individually and instead of $130 together, it’s $32.50 each. If you add one to your cart, the second will add automatically. And there’s free shipping.

Use GREATSKIN to add a Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser Mini 30ml and HAPPY10 gives 10% off orders over $75.

Lots of reviews on Mecca: https://www.mecca.com.au/clinique/moisture-surge-72-hour-aut…

I have used this for years, it has really helped my skin in the colder and drier months. I stacked my student discount (via Student Beans) on top to make it $58.50.

  • This is a great product and an excellent deal.

I 'sadly' have a massive tub still from when we could still travel overseas… still tempted to buy…

  • This vs Origins Ginzing vs First Aid Beauty Coconut Water Cream?

    • Unfortunately no feedback 🤣

    • +1

Who knew asking a question was so neg-worthy. 🙄

      • It wasn't a very good question to be honest. I didn't actually understand what you meant until you posted this comment and I then looked up the product names. I thought it was an obscure reference to an OzBargain inside joke. Those often go over my head.

If you'd simply asked something more like 'Does anyone know how this compares to Origins Ginzing vs First Aid Beauty Coconut Water Cream' I doubt you would have been downvoted. How you worded it came across as a bit lazy which might explain the downvotes.

        • +2

Appreciate the feedback. I guess my assumption was that anyone with actual feedback on the items would recognise the item names.

  • How to get the student discount please ?

    • +2

      Student Beans for 10% off.

      • Thanks !
        Student discount & "birthday"offer don't seems stackable.

  • Thanks OP purchased.

  • Thanks OP. Got it.

  • purchased, thanks OP

  • Was trying to purchase and ended up not being able to complete checkout because something is broken with the Phone fields in the checkout form. Frustrating.

    • do not use auto-fill , enter manually - I had the same problem.

    • This happened when I used Chrome, no issue after I switched to Microsoft Edge.

    • Yeah i think the website is struggling under the Ozbargain surge

    • Same! Can't place the order because it keep saying something is missing in the form. Tried entering things manually but still getting the same error.

      • enter in this format
        61400000000
        or
        061400000000

        • Tried both and still getting the same error. Tried on Chrome and IE, both giving same errors.

          • @ozioziozi: Update both the shipping and billing form manually

          • @ozioziozi: I found the Billing section did not have my mobile and home phone numbers, so filled it in and then worked.

  • Dumb question - but can men use this stuff or does it smell too girly like flowers and stuff?

    • +4

Men can use it; doesn't smell feminine. If you feel you'll be judged however and your masculinity can't handle it, here's the men's version which isn't part of this promotion

      • I'm assuming the men's one has the exact same ingredients? In that case I'll just get the women's one and hide it in my bathroom so no one finds it lol

        • Dunno. I guess so apart from colouring. There's a list of ingredients you can compare with the women's version on the page

    • +3

it does not smell like some of the women's moisturisers. It's a great product and I have used a few bottles as a guy

      • Thanks mate, one more question - does it leave your face looking greasy or does it go matte so it looks like you're not wearing anything?

        • +3

It absorbs fine, it doesn’t leave you greasy or anything.

    • +1

As others have said, the difference between most of cliniques male and female is very little, if anything. It’s really just marketing

    • +1

does it smell too girly like flowers and stuff?

      It is

      100% Fragrance Free.

according to the product description. Should be safe.

  • +1

in the check out keep showing "Please correct the fields marked in red below"
but there is nothing mark in red

    • Same is happening to me!

      • Did you select the title, eg ‘mr’ or ‘miss’?

        • yes

        • +2

After so many attempts finally got it.
Must select title, manual type in address(dont use search), mobile and home number.
Make sure did all these in both shipping and billing form.

Their programmer should try to made purchase, extremely not user friendly!

        • Yep, moved from phone browser to desktop browser and same error is coming up.

          • +3

@panda123: i am using desktop browser. make sure manual fill both shipping and billing form.

            • @Kuyaozb: Thank you! Now working after I manually entered the shipping and billing form!

          • +1

@panda123: After having issues with checking out via mobile. I used Chrome on desktop pc, filled in required info, searched my address and everything went smoothly.

I have a feeling it's autocorrect effing things up because on mobile I chose the PayPal option and it prefilled everything (which didn't work)

    • Finally I got through this stupid error. For me, it was showing 2 address fields: Billing Address and Delivery Address so I had to manually enter both, including the phone number, which seems to be creating this issue. After doing that the order went through.

      • Yeah this fixed it for me. Manually edit everything and edit the billing address as it is missing the phone numbers so is marked as red (but you can't see that it is red because its on another page).

hopefully their cosmetics are better than their web programmers!

  • Looks like code 'birthday' is out of stock: "Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer - Plum Pop - Plum Pop is unavailable due to an out-of-stock condition for offer birthday".

  • I've been using this and it's amazing! Highly recommend it

  • Great post but was unable to check out same as the others. Tried multiple browsers, no dice.

    • look at my tips above, i got when almost give up.

  • What's so good about this? Doesn't look anything special formula wise.

I get super dry skin in the warehouse at work, it literally gives me wrinkles and generally I have semi oily skin! I need something that actually works 🤣🤣🤣

    • It's really good, especially during Winter. If you want, you can buy sample sizes ones of about 15ml from Clinique/Myer/DJs to see if it works for you

    • It’s just a good water based occlusive with no irritants. Personally I find it comparable enough to Neutrogena’s Hydroboost Gel Cream that I don’t think it’s worth the splurge, but people with drier skin seem to prefer Moisture Surge.

Clinque sells into China, which means their products are tested on animals. That makes it a no-go for me.

    • -1

Why try so hard to be a clown lol

  • Don't forget 7.7% cashback on Shopback or Cashrewards

    • Now you tell me after I've checked out lol 😱

    • Ignore me haha, can't read apparently

    • +1

Prolly wouldnt stack with the codes? Is the gift worth the potential of losing 7% cashback? Hmm

  • +7

Turning ad blocker off helped me check out. I couldn't use BIRTHDAY as out of stock. Found GREATSKIN and that worked adding a Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser Mini 30ml.

Edit: i got an email for code HAPPY10 to give 10% off if anyone wants to try that.

    • I got the message "You did not meet the criteria for offer code happy10."

      • Ah yes, it had an asterisk and this at the end of the email:

*Use code HAPPY10 for 10% discount on your first purchase over $75

    • +6

Ah, OzBargain. The eternal balancing act of waiting for people to find even further bargains on things, and ordering before things go out of stock.

      This time I lose!

    • I’ll add this to the post (ozb while from work and on my phone means it’s a struggle editing posts :’)), thanks!

  • Can anyone share a student discount code please?

  • -1

I don't understand the 72 hour bit - do people go 3 days without showering or washing their face? Or do you only use this once every 3 days?

    • You use it twice a day after you cleanse your face. The 72 hour bit claims it locks moisture into your skin for 72 hours

  • Only lets you use 1 code? How are people stacking?

Says I can't use happy10 :( any student codes ? Or is the 30ml free cleanser the best I can get?

    • Can confirm you can't stack codes, I used the student code for 10% discount instead of getting the free gift, also bear in mind cash rebate might not be available if you use a discount code which does not appear on the cash rebate site. For me the 10% discount is better than the 7.7% rebate.

      • what's the student code?

        • +1

          It’s through student beans

    • +2

      HAPPY10 is for $75+ orders.

      • I tried and it does not work

        • works for over $75

  • thanks for posting!

for those who're just interested to "try", Get The Most Glow set @ $24.50 seems pretty good value too.
Was down from $34 and includes 30ml of the hydrator instead of 100ml- plus you get other items to try:)

    Set Includes
    • Moisture Surge™ Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief, 1.0oz / 30ml
    • Moisture Surge™ 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator, 0.5fl oz / 15ml
    • Chubby Stick™ Sculpting Highlight in Hefty Highlight, 0.12oz / 3.6g

  • Can't purchase more than 2 bottles and still use the deal, code can only be used once per account.Tried using different email addresses and the website recognised (after clearing cache and cookies), turned out if you used any of the cash back services, it will remember you and would not let you re-use the code.

  • Thanks for posting. It’s a great product.

  • -1

    doesnt work.

    • What doesn't work? Did you add the right item to the cart?

  • Thanks, OP. Just in time as I need to buy the powder as well. The HAPPY10 code is working for order above $75.

  • +2

I got $10.1 CR for the $65 purchase. They calculated the rewards on the original price!

    • Same

    • +1

      Interesting, I only got $5.

    • They will correct it later when the cashback goes through validation. The same happened to me for an order on Estee Lauder website.

    • I just get 4.51 from shopback with 58.5 purchased
