  • $152.99 (Save $12).. $196.99 (Save $20)

So a little over 7 and 9 percent off respectively? Aww you shouldn't have.

  • why does this one cost so much more compared to this one here?

This one is thunderbolt3, the one you linked is only usb c. Both use a usb connector but the data transfer is substantially different.

    • +1

Because it has thunderbolt 3, it can display 4K @ 60Hz properly across two monitors (i.e. extended, not duplicated). Similar to the TB3 Mini Dock.

Too bad that there is no power passthrough

    • Exactly, this the exact device I’m hunting for except I want power pass through.

I wonder why none of them do it? Is it that passing power reduces wires needed for the data rate necessary for the displays? In which case why not take the “ Satechi USB-C Dual Multimedia Adapter” path (which is a good option for us Mac users).

  • Definitely not at the true market value based on features

    • +2

It is, actually. Try and find another one that does dual 4K @ 60Hz for the price. There aren't many out there for starters.

The thing that bums me out with this one is that the driver for MacOS was difficult to find on the website (none supplied), and it's not certified so the OS keeps whinging about it being deprecated soon. Hopefully that happens later rather than sooner.

  • Customers who bought this item also bought…

    Lolwut?!

    • Wireless too. High tech boulder holders.

  • What's the difference between the one that cost $152.99 and $196.99?

    • 196.99 has another two Dual 4K@60Hz Display Adapter with DP to HDMI Adapter for MacOS and Windows, and it is more advanced.

      • +1

um, are you sure it doesn't include the adapters?
In the description it first said "【Dual HDMI 4K displays 】By using the included accessories Active DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 adapter."
        The highlight is "included accessories"
Under the product description, it said "Wavlink Thunderbolt 3 Dual 4K Display Adapter/HDMI Mini Docking Station With 2 x Aluminum 4K Displayport DP to HDMI Adapter"
Geez, so i just bought the one without the adapters?
Why is it stating included in the page? So which one is right? You or the page?
        Can you please confirm.
        Not happy, mate.

        • God, thanks for your intention! I am right and the page is wrong. The page was edited by mistake.
In order to compensate your loss, you can contact us by amazon so that I can resend you these two adapters.
          Best wishes.
