Thanks for the post! Just bought these instead though!

Hope it works out teach. The reviews on the meowing version are pretty catty. Everyone has their claws out because their box either didn't meow or would stop meowing. It's a pretty sorry tail.

      • Too late for him meow, he's already bought it.

        Meow.

      • The solution is to put your real cat in the room and put his food bowl just out of reach. Same result.

      • Worse case Amazon give you a full refund or partial refund and you keep the game. I can live with that over a box that doesn't meow :P

    • Good buys

    • The picture of the exploding kittens card is in a different language. Is the NSFW edition just the original but with different cartoons? Looks to be no extra new cards.

Also seems so many Amazon purchasers are getting fake copies. I bought exploding kittens from my local game store for $19 not long ago.

  • Is it safe to assume that if it is sold through amazon that the copies are legit? Been stung before with this game and am looking to get a genuine copy.

It will be genuine if through Amazon. A $10 version off eBay… not so much.

    • My wife got fooled when buying Exploding Kittens off FB Marketplace. Literally selling from a car-boot.

Fulfilled by Amazon AU I don’t think you’ll have any issues.

    • Might be a bit of a (profanity), but if you get of Amazon they will almost certainly refund you if it's fake. Amazon has always been pretty good for refunds for everything I've had an issue with.

I am a bit of an exploding kitten expert here /s

That said, I've bought couple of copies from Amazon and ebay for friends and family. Most eBay's are fakes, most Amazon are real. The quickest way to tell is the hologram sticker at the back of the box. A real one has it.

Just played this game last night for the first time with family, was actually easy to learn and pretty fun. Great time of post will grab one as per the mrs command.

  • It's a simple card game, surprised it costs that much. The box is unnecessarily large to make it look substantial when it's basically just a deck of card.

    • +2

It's designed so you can add the expansion set to the box or card sleeves on your cards and it all still fits.

I understand your point. Most of it goes to artists and developers. If it’s pricey you can get the iOS app

Found this at my local post office for $12 the other day. A steal

    • That is a great price!! Should have shared.

      • Hadn’t looked up the RRP and they only had a few copies

    • Was it at a licensed post office (LPO) or an Australia Post owned Post Shop?

      • It was Prahran East LPO

        • I’d be suspicious of knockoffs.

If you have young ones and looking to spend some time with them doing casual tabletop games, maybe get this and Qwirkle to get up to $39. Amazon seems to be having it cheapest at the moment compared to others.

    • I played Qwirkle at the pub, it’s a classic!

  • How this game looks like? Never heard about it

can get on that link for 8.99$ plus shipping of 10$.
I bought this few weeks ago but was for 13.49+10(shipping)+0.67(insurance).

    • Almost certainly a counterfeit. A store that promotes itself as adult women fashion and “one of the first online stores” is now selling discounted board games?? And based in China.

      • Looks and feels just the same. i doubt if it is a counterfeit. My kids almost play every single day.

        • Do you have a legit copy to compare it to?
