Hey all. found this deal on a great pair of runners for casual wear. Some say these are The Best.

Hard to justify $250 and have followed the price on these for ages.

    Seems expensive. Could be better.

    NB often have 30-50% codes

    • Where can I get these codes? @ly93

  • They regularly drop to this price, but not often at Running Warehouse. It's usually The Athletes Foot which sell them for $180 on sale

Works with "SUNSUPER15" to bring it down to $153 :)

    • Thanks heaps doweyy, have updated title and price.

  • Edit:Dowwey beat me to it :)

  • Anyone have any experience with these shoes? I have the FF tempo which are supposedly the racier version of these and they were surprisingly firm. I thought they'd feel like a pair of Rincons would to a pair of Cliftons but it was nothing like it. My main plush shoes right now are Cliftons and Novablasts, thinking at this price worth a try to see if the hype is warranted.

Comparing this to the Clifton 7s, they are not as plush. I feel that the 1080v10s are slightly firmer and more responsive.

      • Thanks, great feedback. I will say the FF Tempo will last two to three times longer than the Rincon because the rubber is more durable. I thought they'd soften when they wore in but they're still firm, I've got 5 and 10k PBs in them though.

        • Yeah, those Hoka soft soles get shredded pretty easily. But the 1080v10's uppers are, I feel, leagues ahead of the Hokas as they are so comfortable. However, the Clifton 7s are definitely heading in the right direction.

  • Code also works on a pair of 880 v10. Brings it down to $152.96 from $179, fairly sure they retail for $200 normally

  • I've tried fresh foam in the past. They were comfortable for running. I think they feel better than an ultraboost (not as squishy for me).

But I recently got a brand black which had vibram soles. Wow they really absorb the ground reaction force.

  • Was deciding between the 1080v10 and the Saucony Triumph 17/18 for a long time. Decided to get the uglier looking Sauconys as it seems like it will have greater durability for daily long runs for a slightly more cushioned run.

  • Gone are the days when you could triple or quadruple stack at NB and get these for $50. I'm not sure why you'd pay this over the $120 that you regularly get Adidas Pure Boosts for
