  The options on the Gorillaz website are SO confusing, holy crap. I would prefer a spreadsheet with the different options.

  Am I the only one who can't stand their new album?

  I've been following Gorillaz since Plastic Beach and loved 90% of what they've made across different genres and styles, but their latest stuff just seems so… sterile.

    'Humanz' and 'The Now Now' were dreadful albums - but the Song Machine project is for the most part, a return to form.

    Pre-Humanz is still their best work though.

      It does seem like Song Machine is an attempt to recapture their initial sound, but it feels the same as playing Pokemon Yellow on a Samsung s20, the game is the same, but everything else has changed around it, and that initial magic is forever gone.

      Humanz wasn't that bad, they had a lot of misses, but the hits they had were some of their best, like Busted and Blue, Saturnz Barz and Andromeda. The Now Now wasn't a bad album either, it just wasn't a good Gorillaz album.
