Woolworths, Boneless Roast Pork Leg

Hi shoppers, have anyone notice Woolworths boneless pork leg roast, prices dropped from $10/kg to $8.50/kg.

However, last week I notice the label on the packaging charges $10/kg.
I checked again today, still $10/kg.

Is it some areas charge more then others? Please explain!

I'm in Campbelltown areas.

EDIT
I meaning to say the price tag on the shelf showing 'prices dropped $8.50/kg'.
And the price on the packaging is $10/kg.

Anyway, today I happen to shop in my areas again, surprisingly enough, Woolworths removed all the price tag of 'prices dropped $8.50/kg' off their shelf. Magic!!!!

  • Is it some areas charge more then others? Please explain!

    There was/is a $1.50/kg price difference.

  • I didn’t know OzB opened up a supermarket.
    OzBoles…OzBoolies…

  • It was probably on sale for $8.50/kg for a limited time ( usually 1 or 2 weeks) and now it's changed back to its regular pricing of $10/kg. That's the most simple explanation.

  • Sounds like it was a store/mangers special which applied for a limited time. The best way to check is to scan it at a checkout, staff are usually happy to correct any pricing errors.

  • You're not going crazy mate. The boneless roast pork leg was on the price dropped promotion for a significant amount of time for $8.50/kg however assumably due to increasing costs and supply issues with Australian pork, prices have increased to $10/kg and as a result have been taken off the price dropped promotion and has gone to $10/kg.
