  We had this, but one side died after just under 2 years.
  Was otherwise a good toaster. The ability to lift the handle and see how the bread is going without cancelling is a game changer.
  Has been around $80 on Amazon recently, so don't feel this price is an exceptional opportunity.

    Yeah one side of ours died after about year. Hearing that it happened to you too makes me think that it’s a design issue.

    why do you need to lift the handle to see how the bread is going? do you not trust the toaster to toast it, particularly when you've paid three times more than a el chepo one?

  The toaster is great, however avoid the kettle at all costs, thing leaks more than a sieve.
