Yea I've done that in the past, ended up being a waste of money. Miui can be very glitchy, and flashing rims can be even worse. You won't find a rom that's super stable. If you are up for flashing roms constantly etc the go for it!

I think you'd be very surprised at just how polished some of releases are today.
@sir_bazz: The best roms back then were based on stock, like Samsung rom for instance. CyanogenMod etc were never stable - I used them, but they would crash etc.

Unsure how applicable it is to the Poco X3, but I own a Mi 9T and I removed most if not all of the bloatware using a tool such as 'Xiaomi ADB Fastboot Tools'. Obviously do your homework first. xda-developers is a good place to start
