    Although comes with miui…..

    • Arh..yeah the ads… But hey! Think about the price lol

      • +1

Yea I've done that in the past, ended up being a waste of money. Miui can be very glitchy, and flashing rims can be even worse. You won't find a rom that's super stable. If you are up for flashing roms constantly etc the go for it!

        • +2

Try the Evolution X with the Ryzen kernel and report back findings, thanks

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: My rom flashing days are long gone haha. Like 13 years ago! I do understand many people love it, and are happy to spend loads of time doing it

            • @onlinepred: 13 years ago is a long time in the "evolution" of mobile industry LOL
              Roms are better nowadays

              • @[Deactivated]: Agree. Get a stable rom and you can use it for a year.flashing constantly? Totally wrong…

              • @[Deactivated]: I was flashing roms for nearly a decade after windows mobile! My note 4 was the last one I flashed roms on.

                • @onlinepred: Which ROM was that?

I think you'd be very surprised at just how polished some of releases are today.

                  • @sir_bazz: The best roms back then were based on stock, like Samsung rom for instance. CyanogenMod etc were never stable - I used them, but they would crash etc.

            • @onlinepred: Yikes, that predates android.
I guess you were flashing windows mobile devices?

              • @sharky_k: Yep. Classic windows mobile. Then I was flashing Android on my HTC windows mobile phone haha.

      • and teh data mining

    • People are gonna root this for custom roms

      Should be well supported methinks

      • +1

Eventually. But sparse at the moment and it wants a Xiaomi account to be able to enable usb debug to even remove the spam and spyware apps

        • They just released it 7 days ago? hehe

Will want GCam on this baby when it arrives hopefully 7 October, left China on the 10th

  • Great saved whole $10 from Flash Sale

Although depending on postage it $5 cheaper here than the flash sale
    NOT happy Xoami !!

    • +4

should have spent the money on spelling lessons.

      • Agreed!!! Especially with a mouthful hehe

The 64Gb is $10 more expensive but the 128Gb is $10 less than at the Flash Sale

NB Depending if the GST is already included?

      • +1

Who cares about the spelling. We are only interested in bargain here! ><

  • This TobyDeals reminds me of ShopMonk if you know what I'm saying.

Unsure how applicable it is to the Poco X3, but I own a Mi 9T and I removed most if not all of the bloatware using a tool such as 'Xiaomi ADB Fastboot Tools'. Obviously do your homework first. xda-developers is a good place to start

    • I ordered a Mi 9T Pro through them 6-9 months ago. No issues with ordering or delivery.

            • @Archdon: Thanks for posting. I bought on the 19th and no updates except for being processed.1st and last time i use Tobydeals. At least they refund unlike Llyodsonline.

@Borat: That was their response after submitting an online ticket

            • +1

@Archdon: Got the exact same response after enquiring about my order.

          • +1

@Borat: Hey Mate, I got the same message saying the order was cancelled. FML, first time order from toby but got cancelled. Will never buy from Tobydeals again.

  • first time ordering from tobydeals. Still at processing after placing order on 23/9.
1 email and 1 ticket and no reply to my messages asking when its gonna be shipped.

    • +1

Sent them a message yesterday, they replied with the following:

      Thank you for your message.

I am very sorry to inform you that there has been a delay in the processing of your order.
We would like to offer our sincere apologies for this.

We are working hard to ensure we can ship out your order as soon as possible.
Our expectations are that we can achieve this within the next few working days.
We hope this delay won't affect any plans you might have made.

      I ordered on 24SEP (black, 64GB version).

      • +3

Got the same email yesterday. Opened a dispute and got my money back.
Bought it as a gift. But no chance of making it in time.
Pretty annoying that they still list it as in stock and not backorder.

        • +1

Seriously considered doing the same -raising a dispute and trying to get a refund - but I just got an email saying my order is being packed and ready to ship. So hopefully others will get notification soon of their order.

          • @zhanggg: Do you raise the dispute to get refund?

  • Actually i ordered 128gb, keeping on trakcking the status of order, no reply currently. (I ordered at 27 sep)

  • Raise the dispute for refunding, then Toby deals reply

    Dear Customer,

    Thank you for your message.

I have just checked the status of your order, and I should inform you that it is still being processed.
The reason that your order is still being processed is that the item you have ordered is currently not in stock due to popular demand.

However, we are currently sourcing the item from our suppliers and would like to ask you to allow for some extra time so that we can complete your order.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Once your order has been picked and shipped, you will receive your personal tracking number.
Delivery will take 3-8 working days, once your order has been shipped.

Should you have further questions, please contact us.

    • +1

Got an email with my tracking number late last night. So delays may finally be resolved? Then again, I ordered 64GB model…

      • You got tracking number?

        • Great, you are so luck

  • I request refund, although the price is very cheap, compared to other supplier, communication is not smooth and always have a lot of excuse. Finally, I don't believe them any more.
