A 17 inch notebook for $1,299? Quite a decent specification as well, although at this size I won't call it a notebook. It is a MSI VR700. Concorde Computers seems to be $30 cheaper although availability might be questionable.

Wow. That's a nice cash back.
I found that the LCD is actually not the same quality as other 17 inch notebooks as it runs on 1440x900, other than 1650x1050. I suspect that MSI is putting a desktop widescreen LCD panel onto this thing.
However it is still nice as a desktop replacement. Also I suspect that having all 103 keys on a notebook keyboard would be very useful.
