    As someone who has no idea, is this "worth it" in the sense that is it quality?
    Definitely spending $650 on this seems absurd to someone who doesn't know, but I'm wondering if those that 'know' could pitch it

      I got this for my wife last year and she really loves it, the handeling and the weight ect, she uses every time.

      However with that said, No, its not 'worth it'. with that money you can get some other quality products that will be just as good and have lots left over.

      This is very 'lux' tho

      I'll give you the shpiel I usually give people who want to understand the value of a product. Luxury goods are ALWAYS more expensive than they are worth. People who really care about that specific thing, be it hair/fashion/makeup all the way to cars/houses/airfares. You are paying for diminishing returns after a certain point with almost any good in existence.

      That being said I bought this for my partner and I don't know if I've ever seen her happier (slight hyperbole), so that has a lot of value to me.

      For me it’s 100% worth it even at full price. Basically it makes my hair look like it was just professionally styled, with no skill and very little time required. It’s also a lot less damaging to my hair than regular hair tools, which matters a lot since my hair is already pretty fragile due to bleaching.

      If you’re already a wiz with the curling tongs and your hair can take some extra heat then it’s probably not worth it, but it’s an amazing product for everyone who struggles with styling their hair or doesn’t have the time.

        I agree. But buying the most expensive doesn't always mean the best. e.g. Miele vacuums are far better than Dyson and they're also cheaper.

              @try2bhelpful: We have been together for 20 odd years. Regardless of how many time I asked, she never told me what she wants nor expressed any disapproval of my presents. She still occasionally wear the cheap earrings that I bought her when I was a uni student with no money. So as a clueless man, I just go with my instinct knowing that my wife can always buy the things she wants/needs herself.

    If i want beautiful curls, I have to get up as much as 30 mins earlier than usual to sort it out.
    I'd rather be a crazy-hair lady but have another 30mins sleep.
