Ordered, then canceled in 10 mins😏 16mp for a big camera, no thx

    • It's probably best you did cancel. You're clearly not someone that knows enough about photography to realise that MP isn't everything and would be happy to misguide people with a comment like this. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I bought one last year for a lot more than what it's selling for here, while being well aware of it having a lower MP count than others on the market and have done paid work with it including both photography and videography.

For anyone wanting to buy one, I'd HIGHLY recommend getting the 25mm f1.7 prime lens at around $250. The thing is incredible.

This is a great camera at this range and the only shortcomings I would raise are:

      • no in-body stabilisation, but this hasn't really affected me, even shooting without a tripod 90% of the time and is a case of buying stabilised lenses if you decide to branch out from more than a kit lens

      • you've obviously got slightly less lens choice on the second hand market when it comes to lenses vs say, Canon. You can buy a lens adapter to take other brand's lenses, though

  • Hmm, is this the best money can buy in this price range?

    • I would say it's very, very good for the money but I don't know for sure if it's the best.

Make sure you get a 25mm f1.7 lens for it (they're around $200-$250) to get some absolutely banger photos.

      • I missed out :(

Do you know any other models i should keep my eye out for in this price range? Possible a couple hundred more even.

        • The Canon M50 would definitely be a solid pick. The autofocus is exceptionally fast and there's plenty of lens options both new and second hand.

          • @tastybaklava: Great, Ill check it out, Hopefully able to find a good deal before Christmas for the missus! thank you.
