  • How can we confirm if these are authentic, has anyone purchased one of these before from this store?

    • I don't like Apus/ShoppingSquare but they don't sell fakes.

    • +1

The comment is fair, the negative is not.

  • ?? Genuine. Been stung like this before.

    • +2

It's Genuine, we sold over 10,000 pcs via eBay and over 50,000 pcs from our store www.ShoppingSquare.com.au

You also can check our review on SanDisk Products.

      • +2

High sales dont mean the product is authentic, it could just mean you have sold 10,000 items to 10,000 people that aren't savvy like us.

        • +2

If you're interested in pushing this barrow,
          why not:

          • contact SanDisk, etc.

          • find some CLEAR indications of genuine vs fake

          • publish your findings

          • maybe buy one of these puppies &
. let us know if it's fake (or not)

          IMO, THAT's -usefully- "savvy"… :-)

I dont think anyone should neg a deal when they are not even sure with their statement.

        • +1

based on Shopping Squares history and the large number of complaints by consumers from this site, whirlpool, Buckscoop etc I think the question needed to be asked to the Rep, pitty the reply avoided a direct answer. A simples yes or no the product is Authentic would have completed a sale for me and I am sure others….pulling out the "but we sold 10,000 items" card for me is avoiding the question.

Hi hotzone and customers who concern about the customer support from ShoppingSquare.com.au,

I believe the increase of neg feedback on ebay recently is really a concern for us (shoppingsquare) By receiving 90+ neg feedback out of our total 10,000+ ebay transactions per month. It's not an excellent results.

The huge improvement on business sale this year is one of the major reasons to make our support team not able to satisfy every customers.

We are working hard to improve our customer support team service in order to catch up the business growth. And try to improve our customer's sanctification from 99.2% back to 99.5% or even higher.

I apology for the customers who being affected by the delay of customer service recently.

If anyone need further help on his orders, please contact us via ShoppingSquare.com.au or drop message to my facebook http://www.facebook.com/shoppingsquare

Poster should mention that he/she is a rep for ShoppingSquare

    • Yes, I am a rep for ShoppingSquare.com.au, you can find it from my profile.

      • You should tick the box that says:

        [ ]I am a Store Representative
"I am a Store Representative". Check this box if you are affiliated with this store/service provider.

when posting/editing the deal so the "REP" logo shows next to your name on the deal. Makes it easier for us to know that you're a rep and not a random user who has "found" a deal ;)

        • this option seem doesn't appeared after the listing is created…

by the way, will the system mix up the store rep of eBay.com.au and our eBay store?

        • +2

@danilochan — Yes the "Store Rep" checkbox is not available after the deals are created so make sure you have it checked when you post the deal.

eBay.com.au is also a special domain here where it can have multiple independent reps, as it can contain multiple stores. It will also let you put in an alternate "Store Domain", which you can put in "shoppingsquare.com.au" to indicate where this list should be filed.

        • Maybe OzBargain's web app should be changed, eg,
so that that check box is in the Profile, ie,
with URL link to the company/companies represented.

Making it EASY to follow rules,
          can really increase compliance.

          Solutions R Us… ;-)

        • @IVI, It will be useful, but there can be times when a rep wants to post a deal from some other store or retailer. Like Danilochan can see a good deal for a TV with BigW and post it without being a rep.

        • @IVI — as you can see from Danilo's profile that he is already the rep for ShoppingSquare and Apus. So when he is posting a deal on those domains, the Store Rep checkbox is automatically ticked.

The tricky situation is that when it's posted on a domain where multiple merchants can exist. For example

          • an eBay listing
          • a Facebook page
          • a Twitter tweet

We do handle special cases like these (asking for store domain, and in the case of Facebook we'll fetch the store domain from the Facebook page). Maybe we'll do something different with eBay — not high priority at the moment.

What are the read / write rates??

    • +3

      Why did u neg a deal when u r asking a question?

Just try google, it's not that hard.

  • Thanks, looks like a good deal. Can somebody comment in general on Sandisks reliability? I might get this to store uni material. Cheers

  • As posted on Amazon by a user:

"Write speed is about 4.61 MB/s"

    Toooo Slow for my liking

  • +2

They have 91 negative reviews in the past month on Ebay. Buyer beware.

there feed back is very poor ,

  • shocking feedback

Haven't received my microSD card from previous deal yet.
Paid on 6th. Received email that item has been dispatched on 9th. Still haven't received it (delivery to Sydney Metro). Not happy Jan!

    Buyer beware!

    • Hi, borealis

Please contact us ASAP, if cannot receive your item within 7 days of dispatch. we will help you to follow up.

      • Sent a message via eBay, last night. Waiting to hear back.

    • +1

Same here, still waiting for mine….despatched on 9th also.

      • Finally got my 16g card today (16th) , took them ages considering the so called despatched date on 9th.

    • Same story here. Bought 2 microSD card both 16GB, paid on 6th, nothing arrived yet!!

      • yep here too

    • Have you lodged a COMPLAINT with PayPal…?

      Result?

      • -1

You should wait for 21 days before filing a case with Paypal. ShoppingSquare shipping charges are often ridiculous but just consider total cost before you decide to buy. I've had 5 purchases with them (both eBay and their site) and haven't had any issues so far.

    • just thought i'd add, i also paid on 6th, mine arrived yesterday (14th)

  • can't see the item from your ebay store or you only create the link for ozb?

  • +4

    Risky purchase.

  • Thanks, got one for the missus.

It's a price that is hard to argue :-)

  • +2

i bought a hitachi touro pro 3tb off shoppingsquare

received it in 3 days and it works perfectly

i have no beef with shoppingsquare :)

    • All the haters must have chicken?

  • +4

I have purchased various SD Cards, USB sticks and other items from shopping square and apus computers (their other ebay account). I can vouch that all my purchased items where %100 genuine and i received most of my items within 2-3 days.

  • I brought a usb stick from ebay not shopping square though and even though ebay sent me an email a day after i paid pay pal still wont refund me the cash the actual USB did arrive but instead of being a 128gb one was a 1gb stick.

Paypal made me jump through every hoop in the book and than just closed the case on me saying a form i returned was unsigned which was utter BS than call them up only to be put on hold for hours until i hang up, literly hours i just kept the phone on speaker.

Moral of the story is paypal buyer protection is a load of crap and not worth the pixels its printed on so dont buy thinking paypal will look after you and as for ebay ill never buy from them again.

BTW not a swipe at shopping square although the sd card i ordered weeks ago and is supposedly coming from Melbourne has still not arrived.

    • received it today

  • If they use HK Post's registered post, with tracking (& send the right item), you should be fine.

Maybe video you opening your package, in case it's not the right item inside. ;-)

  • this product sounds interesting

    i might purchase this

    so it says

    Delivery:

Estimated between Fri. 18 Nov. and Fri. 25 Nov.

if something goes wrong do we contact you danilochan at shoppingsquare.com.au?

    • edBargain

If there is anything going wrong or item not arrive by estimated arrival time, send message to us via www.shoppingsquare.com.au. Or you can contact me directly via facebook by http://www.facebook.com/shoppingsquare

      • ok thanks

        will purchase one :D

      • Can you please tell us what is going on with this, I would like to have them by Christmas.

  • very good price!

  • Is this really SanDisk??? or is it pirated?

  • According to one review on amazon:

"Write speed is about 4.61 MB/s when writing (using H2testw 1.4)"

If that's too slow for you (it is for me) then be aware of this.

  • Bought 2….according to web-site 97 sold (so only ? to go)

  • +1

It's a good price but I have a 16GB Sandisk Cruzer and if you want to transfer large files in quick time I'd get something else. Since I got a Corsair GTR which writes at 28MB/s, it's hard to go back to the Sandisk speed. All these slow USB2.0 thumb drives are being cleared out for the faster USB3.0 drives.

  • still haven't got mine, I've got stuff from asia in less time…

    • yer same no update as yet.

      • Thank you for your recent order and we can confirm that your order had been dispatched on 19/11/2011 by standard Air Mail from our Hong Kong warehouse.

According to Australia post, there might be some delay during the busy Christmas Season, please kindly allow few more working days for the order to be delivered.

Once again, thank you for your order and your patience.

        • still waiting for it any one else got there USB drives
