  • Anyone used these? Which one to go for? There are so many.

    • +8

I bought the SoundPEATS Truengine 3 SE a couple weeks ago for around $52 so I could listen to podcasts or watch stuff on my tablet before bed. I normally use Noise cancelling over ear headphones in my day to day use… which suck in bed if you want to lie on the side… I wasn't expecting too much from them to be honest. I am definitely very happy with them for the price, decent bass and they fit comfortably. I did a bunch of research before purchasing and Soundpeats in general are pretty much up at the top when it comes to price vs. quality. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them from the research i did on them.

I don't use them for phone calls at all since… who the hell calls people nowadays? So I can't comment on that.

      • Thanks for the detailed information. Much appreciated.

One more question if you can answer… How's the battery life? Want to use them for roughly an hour a day.

        • +2

It comes with a little docking box that can recharge them like 3-4 times before needing a charge itself. The earbuds themselves last (i think) 3-4 hours before they need a charge. I have never ran out of juice since the most i use them for is like 2 hours, so you won't have any issues at all unless you forget to charge them.

EDIT: I underestimated them lol, here's what the manufacturer says about the ones i have: 6.5 hours working time per charge for the earbuds, about 3.5 times full charge by the charging case, 30 hours playtime in total. The charging box supports Type-C charging and is equipped with a power indicator, which is clear at a glance and can be grasped at any time.

        • about the battery life, you can refer to our detail page for all our earbuds, and the truengine 3 SE id 6.5 hours working time per charge for the earbuds, about 3.5 times full charge by the charging case, 30 hours playtime in total.

I've been using SoundPEATS Q30HD Wireless 5.0 Magnetic Earbuds (older version) for 2 years now
Excellent for running & listening to Audible - overall excellent sound quality

Since covid I started to take calls on them too - theyre super clear (terrible in windy weather like all mics)
I'll be buying this again soon - like the other review from sm3004, I wasn't expecting much given the price but man theyre amazing!

I also use Samsung Buds+ - these sound better for music.

      • +3

To overcome the Mic issue, wear a beanie over your ears on windy days. It makes a big difference.

        • thanks for the tip - I'll try that next time looking like a crazy person talking to themselves haha
Not like theres anyone around in Melbourne anyways.. bah

          • +2

@BanannaMan: Either I get stares or people think that I'm taking to them. Been doing it for ages now so I'm used to it. I would have thought a beanie would muffle my voice but it doesn't according to the listener.

          • @BanannaMan: the truewings and new arrival trueair2 are also good for call

      • With the Q30HD model, can the cable be managed (e.g. made shorter?)

        • When you wear it - it just sits at the back. Doesnt bother me none.
When I'm not using it, I usually just throw it in a draw.

Its not retractable in any way.

    • hi, dear friend
May I know which function you prefer? All our earbuds are good enough, but different models have different functions and their own advantages, so you need to choose depends on the function you prefer

  • So which are the bang for buck wireless ones of these?

    • Trueengine 3 SE are usually one of the more recommended ones. I have them and can't fault them, especially at that price.

      • Thanks will check them out

  • +1

Trueengine3 SE are probably the best, although phone calls may be a bit muffled. Otherwise performance is quite good.
Their best is not in this group though - Soundpeats H1 has better phone calls and wireless charging
    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/soundpeats/soundpeats-h…

    • Thanks for your suggestion, for the mic, we suggest you use it in a quiet environment. And for H1, it is not on sale at Amazon now, if you guys like this model, you can go to the link this friend provide to buy it and we will also provide good after customer service, please don't worry.

  • Am after some decent buds that last atleast 8hrs. Is this possible without spending hundreds?

    • 8 hours for earbuds is pushing it, especially if you don't want to spend much. Need over ear headphones if you want them to last all day imo

    • hi, friend
Our earbuds are true wireless earbuds, and each earbuds can work 3-7 hours about after charged and if your charging box has fully charged, then it can support to charge the earbuds 3-5 times, please note, maybe you can enter our store to have a check , there are too many model

  • How is the dashcam, anyone have this?

    • 100% claimed

      • 74%

        • Thanks, bought I think they added more stock but lighting deal end now.

    • Good quality and cheap, you deserve it

  • SoundPEATS vs TaoTronics, which brand is better?

    Also looking at https://www.amazon.com.au/TaoTronics-Bluetooth-Headphones-Te…

which plays up to 8 hours per charge.

    • +2

They're both highly recommended at the price points they sell at, you can't go wrong with either brand if you're in the market for budget earbuds. I went with Soundpeats because they had a better deal when i made my purchase and have no regrets.

    • +1

I've got both. Both are quite good.

  • +1

Does anyone use any of these for running? Would like to know if these fit reasonably securely during a run because I don't really like the ones that hook around the ears.

    • I find the ones in the style of the AirPods, like this https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B086PSKY3Q?th=1, are best for running.
I don't have that exact model, but I have other SpoundPeats that look similar.

The other ones fall out of my ears.

    • I've just placed an order for the Truewings. I've been waiting for a discount on the Jaybird Vista, but decided to give the Truewings a go.

I have a Truengine but they are not good for exercising and keep falling out.

    • I recommend truewings and truengine 3 SE

  • Any good one with good voice calling?

      • This new arrival trueair2

        Any discount yet?

          • @spcoker: Thanks, already have Truedot and Truebuds just want one with comparable good music and voice calls.

            • @superforever: thanks a lot, if you have any issues or questions, please feel free to contact our after customer service first and then they will help you and provide the good after customer service
              Good day

  • So many choices. Can someone suggest me something for daily use music and podcasts. And good fit.

    • +1

Can someone suggest me something for daily use music and podcasts. And good fit.

Very difficult to suggest, in ear or semi-in ear?

In-ear SoundPEATS Truengine 3 SE seems quite good according people comments.

    • truengine 3 SE, trueshift2, truebuds are all good

      • True engine 3 stock over? It says currently unavailable.

        • Oh, yes, it has out of stock now and we have sent some but still on the way now. You can have a reference of the others, the trueshift2 is also very good and also the Prime Day will end today. If you like, please buy them soon.

  • +1

great price for the truewings if you are a runner

I have truewings x2 , truecapsule and truedots (the touch one)

can give feedback on these ones if you want

  • Which are the best for phone calls ?

    • trueair 2 and truewings

  • +1

This site is a good reference:
    https://www.scarbir.com/truewireless

  • trying to decide between SoundPEATS Truebuds and SoundPEATS TrueAir2.

Does anyone have any views on these in which one is better for general use…. i'm leaning towards the Truebuds based on its discount for prime day, but not sure if thats a valid reason or not.

    • trying to decide between SoundPEATS Truebuds and SoundPEATS TrueAir2.

I have Truebuds not bad for music but not very good for calls.

TrueAir2 said have Dual Mic and CVC Noise Cancellation may be better but not sure and TrueAir2 no discount.

    • truebuds totally has 70 hours of working time and trueair2 is a new arrival, very slight and small and good for calls

  • Actually do we have TrueAir2 in Australia yet?

    Just saw it

    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08JGZQCM1?ref=myi_title_dp

    • yes, this is trueair2's link in Australia

the wireless magnetic earbuds are showing $41.99, not $28.79?
    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B079PQZ5PS/ref=ox_sc_ac…

    • +1

Not even close to the 10:50PM deadline for this model and the price reverts back…sigh

    • this is lightining deal and just keep 6 hours Start at 4:50PM to 10:50PM and I have wrote the start and end time at the post, hope you can understand
      Thanks a lot

      • I posted that at 10pm. Are you in a different time zone?

  • +1

Seems like lots of prices reverted back before Prime was over :/

    • yes, because some of them are lightning deals and just keep 6 hours and I have written the start and end time at the post, hope you can understand

      • Completely understandable and I did see start and end times thanks.

Particularly for the wireless magnetic earbuds, they were showing $41.99, not $28.79 and it wasn’t even 10PM when I looked. Other users have expressed this too.

  • Just had my Truewings delivered this morning (Australia Post has been delivering everything from Amazon (Dandenong) on the next day).

I'm again impressed by Soundpeats. I have a pair of Truengine SE, they are great for home use, but they fall out during exercise. I had decided to buy the Jaybird Vista, based on online reviews, but couldn't find a good deal, so I bought the Truewings; I'm glad I did.

Sound quality is great, and they fit my relatively small ears perfectly. I'm using the M ear tips, the S tips let too much external noise in, which I don't want when I am working out or running (no traffic around) - I can't imagine them falling out even if I jump or do acrobatics. I haven't tested the "transparency mode" and can't talk about battery yet. Also, I usually disconnect from the world, don't take my phone with me, and don't answer calls when I am exercising, so can't talk about call quality either (I play music from my Garmin Vivoactive4s. Although the truewings are currently paired with my phone for media and calls for testing purpose, they will soon be paired for media only. Unless I am waiting for a particularly important call, my phone is on DND mode 24/7 and will only ring for the contacts on the Favourite list anyway. Please, leave a message and I will might call you back… :)

I like that Soundpeats added touch buttons instead of the usual "clicks". I don't have to put any pressure.

Finally, I've been listening to music uninterruptedly for a few hours now without any interference.

I might have to disclose that I got a 10% discount on the Truewings, in addition to the Amazon Prime discount. Soundpeats customer support has been very responsive.

    • the further discount was due to some past issue i take it then?

      • +1

I told them I like the Trueengine but they fall out during exercises, so they offered a 10% to try the Truewings.

  • I got a 40% refund card in my truewings pack with QR. scanned and goes to Facebook messaging from and account that calls itself “fun stuff”. Messages asking for details of invoice etc. Anyone else get this and know if it’s legit?

    • Yeah they give that will give you 40% if you give them a good review on Amazon

      • Never receive refund card in my soundpeats pack :(

  • I missed this sale, when is the next one?

    • today

      • Great! I will wait for your post!
