Nikon AF-P 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G DX VR $28, Nikon 35mm DX 1.8G $218 @ CameraClix

460

Update: All of the Nikon 18-55mm lenses have sold! We still have the 35mm 1.8G in stock.

Most people will already have the 18-55mm, and it's nothing spectacular. However if you've broken yours, or you want to pick up a cheap kit lens just for fun, this is an amazing deal. Reverse lens macro anyone? We only sell Australian stock, and of course you get the standard local manufacturer warranties.

Please note that this is an AF-P lens, which means it won't work with older Nikon DSLRs. Cameras including and after these models should work; D3300, D5300, D7100. Check this link for the full compatibility list: https://www.nikonimgsupport.com/eu/BV_article?articleNo=0000…

will this work with canon 400D

    • +6

You're asking if a Nikon lens works on a Canon?

    • +1

      No, it won't.

These lenses work on Nikon DSLR cameras - typically on their DX (cropped) format cameras such as the D3500. They will also work on Nikon FX (full frame) format cameras but they will be cropped, or have an image circle because the lens would be too narrow to fit the full size of that sensor.

    • If you can find an addapter then YES.

    • You can find a cheap 10 dollar adapter on eBay, but you will lose autofocus capability.

$28 even for a kit lens brand new is pretty crazy

    • +2

I think so too, I had to convince the pen pushers on this sale!

  • +4

Sneaky update to prevent resellers from taking the deal away from others, we're limiting it to one per customer and now you'll have to apply code, NIKON1855

    • it's still $78 and not $28..

      • +1

Refresh the page and it should work, if not give us a call!

        • +1

For the first time I felt lucky to grab a bargain :D

@Vaibhavm23: Thank you, hopefully we've made your day!

Nice, bought one first. $28 cannot go wrong.

  • i don't see $28 for that lens anywhere..

    • "you'll have to apply code, NIKON1855"

    • Can't see it either. Shows as $78.95 for me after applying discount code ($199.95 before code)

If you can't work it out, give us a call on 0429 CAMERA, we'll sort it out for you.

      • Nobody came to the phone…

        • Try calling again, sorry, we've had a lot of calls.

  • You can use the 35mm f/1.8 on a full frame, only minor vignetting in the corners when there is bright light, however got mine 3 years ago, paid $165. Price has gone up since then.

    • +2

Yeah, unfortunately all camera equipment has gone up significantly in price in the past few years. We're doing the best we can, but some prices simply can't be achieved with our current supplier pricing.

  • At checkout total goes up to 78 for the lens

    • Hang on tight, we're trying to fix it. Our apologies.

      EDIT: Should be fixed.

      • +1

        Fix had worked. Thanks.
Now I can be careless with my current lens :D

        Working for me now. Thanks.

  • Nice, got the 18-55, great price op.

  • Grabbed one cheers op

  • Great price… have no idea what to do with this one even at this price :)

  • Update: All of the Nikon 18-55mm lenses have sold out! We still have the 35mm 1.8G in stock.

    • :'( I just had one in the cart and applied the code, it just dissapeared as i did. Thank you so much anyways!!

      • +1

Sorry! Missing out on deals suck, we didn't have enough stock to go around. There is still the 35mm lens available, and it's an awesome portrait lens (50mm-ish on a crop body) at an awesome price

  • Do these work for D5100?

    • AF-P lenses won't work on the D5100, but the 35mm 1.8G will be fine.

      • Nikon 35mm DX 1.8G will work

  • Does the 18-55 work with d3300?

    • Yes with the caveat of having the latest firmware

  • +1

Great price OP. Any chance of more stock coming in at this price?

  • Nikon 35mm DX 1.8G is one of the best lens for Nikon DX, Never removed it from my D5200 back then.

  • I've been deliberating on getting a new lens as I never changed from my 18-55. I'll bite!
    Looking forward to using 35mm
