Free McCain Pub Style Extra Crispy Chips by Uploading Photo of Chips @ McCain (Redeemable @ Woolworths)

5644

I was able to get a barcode to claim a packet of chips at any Woolworths store (except for Woolworths Online, MetroGo, and Metro stores) between 21st October, 2020 and closing time on 3rd November, 2020.

Right now freezers all over Australia contain dangerously bland chips, just waiting to ruin your dinner. These pale and soggy imitations are giving good chips like ours a bad name.

So for the sake of your meal, we urge you to stop consuming these inferior chips immediately and we'll provide you a bag of deliciously crisp McCain Pub Style Extra Crispy Chips instead.

SAY NO TO BAD CHIPS, SAY YES TO MCCAIN PUB STYLE.

Upload a photo of some bland chips you've made and your details below to claim your free McCain Pub Style Extra Crispy Chips.

Be quick! Only 10,000 vouchers available. Voucher valid from 21st October, 2020 until 3rd November, 2020.

"Be quick, you must redeem your offer from any Woolworths store (except for Woolworths Online, MetroGo, and Metro stores) "

    • We've sent you an email with your unique barcode.

Make sure to check your junk mail box just in case.

IMPORTANT: Your barcode can only be used once, so unless you want to give your free chips away, don't give your barcode to anyone else!

I uploaded a picture of bean shoots

Coupla years ago my oven died and I asked my Landlord multiple times to fix it n when they didn't I started tryna cook oven fries under the grill - but with the grill door closed, And I have NEVER looked back lol. They ultimately did fix the oven but screw that - this is faster and results in far better chips. Also results in smoke-stain trailing up the wall behind the stove/oven and if I ever fall asleep with it going I might die but yknow, good chips

    • +9

I’d highly recommend an air fryer for chips. You won’t regret it.

    • +1

Some ovens require the door to be closed when grilling… spun me out when I read the manual

    • +2

jesus next time you NCAT/VCAT/QCAT (whatever your state is) that shit.

    • +4

You sound like a fantastic tenant.

  • +11

  • +16

I uploaded a photo of my cat and got the voucher.

      • no idea why you got negged…i found it hilarious

        • -1

Haha it doesnt bother me. I notice a lot of phantom negging on Ozbargain these days. I assume its petty resentments, people who hold micro-grudges, that kind of thing. But hey, I am old enough to not take the internet that seriously, ready to go back to actually meeting up with real life friends/ libraries/ answering machines any time. It's all good

    • +3

You get a code for a free cat!! :-)

  • +4

Oh, McCain, you have done it again !!

  • I used a picture of McCain chips haha

  • +1

For those uploading random pictures… Please reconsider.

Fair enough if you use a generic chips picture but comments saying they're sending in 18+ pictures etc is just wrong.
Someone might actually go through it in the likelihood this is a social media campaign. Last thing a person wants to see is a random reproductive organ.

    • +7

      Username checks out.

    • +1

      Or do they..

    • Last thing a person wants to see is a random reproductive organ.

What about if we send the employee their own reproductive organ?

    • +1

      As if anyone is

    • Shouldn't be ashamed of your body, or shaming any one else's (wo)man

  • +9

I sent them a picture of the OzBargain logo.

I'm expecting to get subpoenaed by someone's marketing department.

    • +5

      Impending merchant takedown request now!

      • +2

        those darn professionals again!

  • +4

Uploaded a photo of my tomato plant , got chips

  • +5

    Ooops….

I submitted the wrong photo !!!

How can I delete it before the wife finds out ?????????

    • One Gmail and + symbol = infinite email addresses

      • That and one outlook email = infinite plus one email addresses

        • I think it was proven that infinities are all the same, or more like that the theory that some infinities are bigger than others was disproven.

          • @TEER3X:

I think it was proven that infinities are all the same

            Who proved it and when?

      • Validation on the form didn’t accept +

      • +2

you can use say name @ gmail.com and then produce n.ame @ gmail.com na.me @ gmail.com and so on - all vouchers will land at name @ gmail.com eventually

        • I wish more people knew about the dot trick, seems most people only know about the + trick, which is rejected a lot as a bad character.

    • +5

      what a greedy (profanity)

      • +2

Never submitted a deal in 4 years to boot too

  • Thanks OP.

  • I sent a picture of a bag of red rooster chips, packaging and all. Yes I already know I'm a badass but thanks for noticing.

  • +1

Can you just grab the chips from the freezer aisle and do a self-checkout? Or do you have to claim at the service counter?

I tend to find staffs are probably not briefed on the promotions and you wasting 15 minutes waiting for a manager to know what the &$(~ is going on…

    • +3

Just scan. Works like their bunch vouchers

      • +1

Glad you got through quickly! No such luck for me.
I just tried this at my local store in the self serve and was told to go through a staffed checkout with a promo like this as staff member couldn’t get it to work. Then… see the rest below :)

    • -1

Guess you didn't read the email that comes with the promo…..

      • You can read the email but if the staff don’t know about it you’re going to be stuck there for 20 minutes - as I just was, after going through with all my groceries in a staffed checkout. Staff knew nothing about promo, so had to wait in the long line at the service desk. In the end they had to just void the $4 off my total as the code wouldn’t work even when entered manually (Woolworths East Keilor).

        • this is literally my worst nightmare, seems a lot of these promotions are not co-ordinated well… glad you managed to get through somehow

  • I wonder if there’s a limit for the total qty of giveaways?

    • 10k

      • Thanks must have missed that!

  • -8

    Thanks op got 10

  • +1

    AFL night sorted!

  • I remember these products being really small in terms of portions. The question is now, what to get wedges or chips?

    • +1

really small in terms of portions

Yes, that exactly what “pub style” means.

  • Want a chup bro?
