MoneyBackCo website upgrade

Hi Scotty,

Hope you don’t mind me posting this, but at MBC we’re starting to evaluate a redesign of the website, its look and feel, layout and functionality and thought we’d open up the discussion so that anyone with a good idea, new features or a layout suggestion could get involved. What do you like about the current site? What don’t you like about the current site?

After all its the people who use it most who’ll hopefully benefit from any changes we make.

Please feel free to post any suggestions here (if that’s OK with scotty) or email them directly to support@moneybackco.com.

Many thanks,
Steve.

Hi Steve! No problem — post them here! Although with the amount of exposure MoneyBackCo gets here on OzBargain, I am not sure whether it should be categorised as “Off-Topic” :)

I’ve got a few ideas in my head and I will post them tomorrow (got a few other things to do tonight).

Hi Scott,

We’ve finished! the website upgrade.

Additionally we’ve reduced the cashout fee from 2.7% to just 20c, and you can now choose a direct bank transfer rather than being limited to just PayPal, you can add a bank account and change your “Payment to” in your preferences (see the top of the page when you’re logged in) and don’t worry, we use a secure connection (https) so your details are safe.

We’ve added a Privacy Policy, see the bottom of the page.

Our forum is now hosted on here and on the merchant specific pages we list any recent deals from OzBargain to make sure you don’t miss out on even greater savings.

If you find any problems with, or have any comments about, the new site please don’t hesitate to either leave a comment or email us directly at support@moneybackco.com.

Thanks Steve! It now has a much cleaner look and thanks to the reduction of the withdrawal fee.

One question — do you have any recommendation for merchants to do so they can provide moneyback to the bargain hunters? As there are already information on the site for the shoppers, maybe a small page for the merchants who wish to participate?

Good idea!

We’ve already had a few merchants get in touch via email, so a dedicated page is a good idea.

Cheers,
Steve.
