From cursory googling this cooler is not the most reliable, either in longevity or thermal performance.
Was considering but I might just stick with my Cryorig H7 Pro tower cooler.

    • Something just won't let me hang a big heavy fan off the front of my motherboard.
I know its cheaper and probably more efficient but, I can't do it.

Mine started leaking around the pump after about 18 months. CBF trying to get warranty on it, so just trashed it.

Edit: I think mine was V1 - maybe their quality has improved since then Maybe not.

better than running coolant from the top over board

    • This is the only way to stop the liquid rushing sound from the loop.

Guyssss this is damn cheap!!! the AIO itself is pretty good but the RGB fans that came with it were pretty crap. I had to change them to better fans as it vibrates pretty badly.

had that prob before and drove me bonkers.

    • I agree witht he shitty RGB fans, I replaced them with Noctua A12x25, it will be very close to the best 240mm AIO but then the fans cost more than the AIO itself…

id rather pay the freight for one of these: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/47194/deepcool-gammaxx-l… much higher quality.

The build quality is not the best, got one last year for around 70bux, still kicking. But pump is noticeably louder compare to corsair h100 and EK AIO240mm (no big deal as you can adjust DC/PWM). Occasionally that water slushing noise is very annoying on the Cooler Master, mounts the same way as Corsair and EK, rad on top and they don't make a sound.

never rad on top - bottom preferable

      • how about front mount??

        • tubing going up from cooler so leaks may run down tubing and out bottom…you need to think it out. I only use big cases because their easier to work with big air or bottom aio's … and rgb ain't part of my thinking.

@petry: You also need to understand the no1 reason for failures and noise in having a pump at the top of a loop. See https://youtu.be/BbGomv195sk

            • @trestylez: Well if i have failures inside 5 years maybe rotting plastic will be an issue for me. I have no noise issues, temps are excellent, but clearly bottom mounting is a no-no for longevity, and can cause noise issues from air collection.

              learnt something.

          • @petry: Installed over 20 of these and not one issue. Yes, of course, there are going to be failures/leaks etc, but I believe the failure where leaks occur are quite small in percentage terms. The results / price for this type of hardware out-weighs the risks, especially if from mounted. Any leak this way would cause none to minimal damage. Not to mention they look great.
