Got this for $269.40 from Amazon in Jan. Might be another Black Friday or other sale coming up if not desperate for one now.

    • Not to mention, I have used my Amex points to get this under $200, but definitely 269 must have been a huge bargain.

      • Which online store did you redeem your points?

          David Jones …

    • Yeah I got that deal too. It went out so fast

  • we got a cheap airfryer a few months ago at target, it's simply been amazing. any real advantage to upgrading to a more expensive model?

If it's not broken, even if there's a few gizmos - stick with what's already exceeding your expectations.

  • Is it worth it over a $100 one off eBay?

Better of getting an Aldi or Target one for $99
They do as much if not more for a third of the price.

These Phillips models are way overpriced even when on sale.

Aldi is only $69 on Sat (5L)

The challenge is that most of the cheaper ones have considerably less wattage, meaning that they don't cook as fast and the air circulation isn't as good, meaning it takes work to get food as crisp without burning as it does in the Phillips.

Having owned a cheapie and a Phillips, t's fallacious to suggest all sub-$100 ones are even nearly as good as a Phillips. Some may be, but not the one I ended up with.

      • I had a Phillips then when it died (for the third time) i decided to just chuck it out as i was sick of the warranty process and bought an Aldi one.

It craps all over the Phillips in so many ways. I do not see any reason to pay $300+ when an Aldi/Target one will do as good and in my experience a better job.

Can we combine with the 11% Cashback from Cashrewards?

  • We have the aldi one and this phillips one..
Phillips one holds less food but cooks better.
They are a pain to clean 100% so i just use the old bbq method and put temp full knackers that will kill any bacteria if you havnt cleaned and not overly dirty from last cook.
We had the phillips one first but if we got the aldi one we would of been happy to use that and save heap of coin. The aldi one we have is the dome one that opens like clam shell. We have 6 kids and reason we needed the second one was our oven broke and got the phillips for ridiculous price due to shop ticketing error while looking for oven sale . Bottom line isi dont think phillips is worth rrp or even this price over the aldi one and ifyou could find sub $300 or closer to $250 thats the pricing point i think it should be.. black friday sales are soon so maybe it will go cheaper then ..

  • is this the one with the little shelf?

  • Cheaper at Amazon.
    $369 +$50 cb

    • Link? I can find is a different model with 1.2kg capacity at $349.

      • Its gone back up to 439

  • Stack with 11% Cashrewards

edit: Just realised GregFiona mentioned this above too

  • thanks op! got one :)

  • Thanks OP, had been holding out for this. Works out to $305.60 after philips and Cashrewards cash back! Amazing price.

  • Is the premium one better investment & worth the extra $$ compared to this model? Been wanting to buy Philips XXL, but not sure which one to go, either this one or the premium one.

Would love to read some feedback who owned / owns both models or either one. Thank you.

  • Thanks OP. got one too. I got the standard XL and it wasn’t big enough. I am hoping this will give just enough extra space. Cheers

  • Did anyone else receive an email saying their order cannot be fulfilled?

    • I have received an email that the order is on its way

      • Thanks for confirming.

Man, I'm really annoyed at that. No explanation given.

Just "We’re sorry to let you know that we are unable to fulfil this order."

"Rest assured" I'll be refunded in a few days.
Clearly I didn't want the money, I wanted the item at the sale price I paid for.

And then "We hope to see you again soon." - yeah not likely, if I can't ever trust a purchase will be honoured. Especially if it means missing a sale price elsewhere.

The cash rewards deal is now over too.

Been waiting for quite a while for a deal on this, to get it as a Xmas gift.

If they made a inventory mistake I would've preferred to keep the order and wait.
