  • What makes this better than a tennis ball?

    • +1

My tiny Shitzu completely destroys a tennis ball within 2 minutes. Even a cricket ball doesn't last long. Randomly found one of these on a walk, and it's lasted bloody ages in comparison. 7 months and still alive, which is a miracle.

Definitely last a heap longer than a tennis ball….plus the fibre of the tennis ball actually isn't great for dog's teeth.
I've got a german shepherd and a cattle dog, tennis balls are usually blown apart in a couple of fetches but these have been going strong for 12 months. I don't leave them with balls though, they've got other toys for chewing.

They're normally $15-20 for a pair of mediums so it's a good price (Pet Circle do have them under $10 as well though). Get the right size for your dog though, you don't want them swallowing a ball when they grab it!

@Owl mate this is the real deal - as in a great product. if you find a good price, its defo worth it

  • We've got these. They last ages, our little one destroys all toys, but not these.

  • balls

  • Ive got a super chewer, she's worked these out but they still last at least a month.

  • my american staff chewed it like chewing gum, it didn't last a week, but it's good if you don't leave it with the dog all day 😅. other balls are destroyed in less than 5 minutes

  • I bought a 2 pack 2 years ago. Honestly the balls look brand new even after 2 years of being chewed on by a gnawing labrador that rips tennis balls to shreds in 2 minutes.

    • am getting mixed msgs ^^

    • Was curious if these would work well with my Labrador, glad to see someone confirm it, cheers :)

  • Still waiting on my order from early October. Thinking they've been lost or they'll randomly drop ;)

  • Just Google Indian Cricket tennis balls on Amazon they last forever with dogs.
Make sure you get the Green / Yellow colour as dogs don't see red that well. Recommended by none other than John Rogerson UK dog trainer extraordinaire.

  • Obviously depends on your dog but for our French bulldog I find these balls to be far too stiff. Now it's just gathering dust. Our fur baby loves the Kong air squeaker balls.

Got these on the last deal and they are good. Go well with the plastic chucking stick which is just as well due to the dog slobber

  • Can the launchers be used as a side arm for cricket?

  • +1 this ball lasts ages.

Just a side note, our dog's canines (teeth) have become a lot blunter after playing fetch with this ball, perhaps due to the fact that he insists on catching the ball in his mouth on the bounce. Maybe something to do with the friction with the ball over the longer term? As a ball to play fetch, it's sturdy as anything, highly recommended.

Strange, I see $8.67 when I click the link but at check out the price varies from $18.07 to $16.99

    • Can't get it to work either.
