Extra 20% off Outlet (Shirts from $30) + $20 Delivery @ T.M. Lewin

80

Good to stock up on some cheaper shirts. Note: shipping is now a flat rate of $20.

Filtered for non-iron shirts, lowest first: https://www.tmlewin.com.au/outlet/mens-shirts/?prefn1=ironab…

In light of their business… unsure if we'll get another 5 for $150 in the future.

the shipping kills it for me

    • Yeah I agree. Personally would only go for it if you'd get 3+ shirts ($36 each) which is a lot better than the old regular sales. But it looks like the shipping is here to stay.

Eh - these shirts are fantastic quality and $30 is well below what they're worth IMO.

I was going to make an order but after reading recent reviews here I've reconsidered - https://au.trustpilot.com/review/www.tmlewin.co.uk

What's OzBargain's current go-to business shirt? Need to get stocked again before I start going back into the office.

      Wow reviews are shocking..

I have ordered from them and know my exact size and fit - the quality is unchanged and at this price it's still a good buy IMO

The status quo is either ctshirts (https://www.ctshirts.com/us/home) or TM Lewin. Usually go by whichever has their '5 for $150' type deal, and then figure out which has a better fit for you. The shirts are fairly similar quality.

Personally been using TM - both the shirts fit better (I am a smaller fit) and they have free online returns in-store Sydney.

      • Yeah I haven't tried the CT shirts but I'm a smaller guy too and I've read the same about the T.M. Lewin shirts being a little more fitted.

If the Melb store accepts online returns - what I used to do was order a couple, try them all and then return the ones that I didn't like in-store. Though I don't know if COVID has changed anything.

          • @pifts: I was in the city yesterday and both CBD stores are closed with For Lease signs. They closed all their stores when they went into voluntary administration.

            • @Cheaplikethebird: I mean it's understandable, who's trying to refresh their corporate wardrobe now!

              • @dust: Exactly. The question is do I roll the dice on doing a bulk order of shirts before this source of cheap, well fitting shirts disappears?

            • +1

@Cheaplikethebird: Ah haha you can tell I haven't been back into the office since COVID…

I think OzBargain's current go-to-work clothing is t-shirt and shorts!

      • You're wearing shorts?

        • As opposed to just briefs?

          • @dust: I wear boxers and call it smart-casual. Shorts are too official.

  • If you're after business shirts, Van Heusen has good sale going at the moment. Bought four shirts for $100 inc. shipping so you can snatch some up for $25/shirt. Plus they're offering $20 off first order if you sign up to their mailing list.

No offense but IMO Van Heusen aren't even a step above Big W/Lowes.

    • Van Heusen shirts are pretty bad. Most aren't even 100% cotton.

    • VH quality is bad bad bad!

    From $15.20 shipped internationally but $20 A/NZ

  • Walked by their Sydney store on Wednesday and it's gone. I'd definitely be wary with ordering from them.

  • What happend to T.M Lewin? What am i missing? Easily my favourite work shirt and better than CT

  • Anyone considering to order should note that returns are to the uk. It cost me $80 to send 3 suits back and could only claim around half of shipping cost from PayPal.

  • Does anyone else have a heap of office attire they haven't touched since March? I spent quality time building it up (incl. many TM Lewin shirts), now I doubt I'll be in the office even 1 day per week when things go back to normal. What to do with it all… These are good shirts though, I liked the ones with a little spandex in them.

Meh, I don't miss the office, activewear is my new officewear.

Purchased four shirts last Friday, received all of them today. Happy with sizing and quality for the price.

  • What are the rough costs for sending back say 2 or 3 shirts to the UK? All stores in Australia seemed to have closed so no more in person returns…
