    Only that colour.
Strange note on the product page:
"Not suitable for Driving and "Road use"

  • +1

It doesn't say that it's polarised.

Ha I will have an original pair. These have changed a bit

U get better quality sunnies at BCF

  • Not suitable for Driving and Road use

Huh? What's it used for then? Just good for staying indoors?

    • Use sunnies for going out at night like the 'cool kids'.

On a more serious note that statement is surprising as I didn't think these blocked that much light. I know Ray-bans have some lenses that have warnings against driving.

      • Been wearing sunnies since I was a kid and that makes it a very long time now and been wearing Ray-bans for just as long and I never realised that there are sunnies that are unsuitable for say, driving? Huh, learn something new everyday.

  • You purchased them last year and you're already looking for new sunnies; not a glowing endorsement.

    • +1

They are wearing their sunnies and thus can’t tell if the endorsement is glowing or not

    • Still have that same pair - daily use - Need another for work.

The whlole 'Not suitable for Driving and "Road use" is weird. Use these heaps when driving. The only reason I can think of is in the polarised lenses, sometimes they mess with those electronic signage boards at McDonalds and Shopping Centre Car Parks where you see a streaky rainbow due to the lenses distorting.

      • Polarised lenses can give some funny effects at times. I used to wear them on my motorcycle and the combination of the polarised lens and the motorcycle helmet visor - which is a curved polycarbonite - would give really strange effects at times. Personally I actually liked it as it made reflective surfaces (water, oil, etc) really obvious.

  • I won’t go responding to each reply about “driving and road use”, so will just put it here.

These have dark lenses. They aren’t orange, or green etc, but black.
On the specs you will see:
    “ Light Transmission: 11%”

That’s like getting your car windows tinted to 11%. If you did that, you would be defected.

So, they block out lots of light, so perfect for wearing when walking around in summer, perving on chicks and not getting caught.

If you like to roll in your 5.0 with 5% limo tint, you’ll be used to this level of light transmission. … But don’t wear these glasses when you do.
