Targeted, only 10% and prices jacked up. Why are ebay "deals" still posted here?

    • Some people might have ebay shares so they have a vested interest in promoting eBay.

    • Seriously, when was the last time eBay even offered a 10%+ discount that didn't require you begging like a mutt and jumping through hoops, or being an eBay plus member just to find an actual bargain?

We used to get 10-15% off the entire site, now you need a lawyer just to interpret the exclusions list.

      • I miss the worldwide 15% off.

These ebay deals need a comparison rate like insurance rates just to take into account the cost of ebay plus and the marked up prices. Then it would be more like 3% discount

        • krisspy think you're overlooking how to use these codes, example, this deal everyone happy with the $1040 price, but if you are eligible for the code in this deal brings the price down to $995, don't think many would complain about that, it's all about stacking on top of sale price, or using it on a product thats never on sale like apple products etc.., if it's cheaper elsewhere you buy from their, on the downside these type of codes were once available for everyone now it's targeted bs unfortunately

  • not very exciting

  • Ah no wonder that power bank i was looking at got jacked up since Friday

    • -1

do you honestly believe that? can you show me the product your looking at i'll see if it's eligible

  • Wait where do I click to find these offers?

    • +1

top right of your screen "MyeBay" click on that Vouchers should come up will be in their if elegible, or check this product just under "click & collect" do you see "Pay only AU $699.00 [ Show me how ]"

Thanks, looks like I'm not targeted.

  • Got the code. As usual, tried to apply it to some items but get the message "invalid code". So it's a fake discount as usual, in that it's impossible to easily find what it applies to, and it never applies to anything you actually want.

One wonders why ebay only want to benefit some sellers with these codes.

    • +1

it works on pretty much every major retailer & some high rated sellers, it doesnt work on private sellers, you dont even need to enter the code to check just look at the item just below "Add to watchlist" & you will see ""Pay only AU $xxx [ Show me how ]" if the item is eligible

  • Would this work with best offer?

    edit: seems like it would.
