    This model works in Australia without having to do anything. But it has a very weak signal receiver, you will have to locate it relatively close to your wifi source for best experience.

    nah, i originally had my xiaomi account set up to Singapore network, it works fine.

    But it does randomly turn on by itself sometimes… not sure if its a glitch or if somebody's 'watching'…

  Not exactly a hijack, but if anyone wants a 2nd hand one at a good price, pm me. I just replaced my xiaomi camera for a kasa camera to tie into my tp-link ecosystem. Was using the xiaomi as a baby cam.
