3 month free trial to Apple News+. Just popped up when opening the Apple News app, normally 1 month free trial I believe. Can also find under the Apple News+ tab
Auto renews. $14.99/month after trial ends until cancelled

What do u mean?
I quite liked the Apple News app and have been using it since it first launched but it’s progressively getting crowded with clickbait headlines and tabloid articles.
They’ve also been slowly putting more and more News+ content in your face even if you don’t subscribe. It’s just gotten so bad in the last few days that I’m comtemplating no longer using it.
I get that they need to entice people to subscribe to it but if I have to scroll through several screens of stuff I can’t read every time I check the news then I’m just not gonna bother.
Regarding News+, the only Australian media organisation that’s signed on is News Corp and I’m sure as heck not giving Murdoch any money.
I had to force-close the app and open it again to get the deal.
Propaganda dispenser
LOL best bit is they con people to pay for it.
I wanted to like this service however just cancelled, 15 dollars to pay for news when a bunch of it was still behind a further paywall is a joke eg they feed a SMH article, when you go to it, SMH then wanted you to pay as well! (the whole point of paying for news was so I could read news!!!!). Also their algorithm didn't seem to work very well, I flagged interests and it almost never showed consistently and I had to manually go look for it (it felt like i had to sift through countless articles/noise to find what I was actually interested in). Like another comment said, the only paid stuff seemed to be lower quality sources (disappointing).
It’s because it’s mainly news Corp titles in the subscription. Fairfax (The Age, SMH) aren’t part of the subscription. I just simply subscribe to the age and log in under google news.
If you subscribe to the Age you can still log into your account through the news app and read the content. I have an Australian subscription and can read the articles through the news app with no subscription to Apple news.
