Be warned this monitor only has 10 local dimming zones which of a monitor of this size is comparable to an edge lit LCD in terms of performance. Most honest local review I've read that aren't 'influencers' given free product from Samsung - https://www.canstarblue.com.au/technology/samsung-g9-odyssey…

      And is completely irrelevant

    • A Mitsubishi Evo vs Toyota Camry. They're both cars with 4 doors and more or less the same engine size. But they're marketed towards different buyers.

Didn't know Harvey Norman could do a big discount on this. I thought they weren't capable of doing discounts.

  • Ordered one in store and is back ordered but should get it in 2 weeks. Since I have been reading issues with these monitors.

Should I / can I cancel the order I wonder. Don’t really want too as it looks like a great monitor besides the issues

    • Build date is October on mine, so issues have been fixed.

In saying that, if your main game is valorant, unfortunately, I can’t get it to work in full screen mode at 240hz. It will only work full screen at 120hz

Not sure if hardware or software issue

      • You need to update the firmware. Check the Samsung Support page for the download this will fix the issues and you will be able to run at 240hz

  • Cool. Mainly flight sims for me.
