  • Where is the temperature gauge?

    • +1

That only comes with the premium model, available only through Weber stores.

        Don't think I'd want one without it…

        Lid seems taller too…

    • different model Q1200 or something like that has the gauge

    • On the top (based on image from the link)

      • It's upside down.

        • It's there though.

  • I have had the Q1000 (for several years. They are fantastic. Steak 4mins one side 2 mins the other rest perfect everytime

I also bought the Q1200 with the temperature gauge IMHO it is really worth paying the extra for one with the temperature gauge.

I leave the little one in the caravan and use the one with the gauge for home just fantastic for steak ,flat lamb and pork and roasts

I no longer use my expensive 6 burner hooded barbecue. except when cooking for a crowd

    • for a family of 4, do you think, it is a good size?

      • +1

Get the Q2000 at least if cooking for 4, baby Q will take a long time as you’ll have to do lots of batches

        • Thanks, I will keep an eye of it. What do you think about the family size one? The family size comes with the stand, that tempting to me

          • @Edsanwong: ou can do a chook or a turkey in the 2200 (the ones with the higher lids) i think the babys might be a squeeze.

          • +2

@Edsanwong: Family is gigantic - would suit 4 for sure but you could probably get away with the smaller one. Lots for sale on FB marketplace is you want to check it out in store and want to save $$ as well.

i personally find the weber stands a bit plasticy and replaced mine with a vintage trolley that was more solid - Hard to go wrong with any of them.

  • How do these compare to The Ziggy by Ziegler & Brown ?

  • -1

not a very good bbq, shite really

    • Sauce? Source?

    • +1

really? visit any campground around oz and 80-90% of the gas BBQ's that people have is a baby Q,

      • had one for 6 years, never hot enough, feo2 cancer of the plate is bad, replacement of same very exi

        • Wow do you leave the lid down as Instructed?

I have done roast lamb steaks hot plate with sausages and eggs. Always never a problem
